The Capture

"Say, Paul. When we arrive, maybe we could do stuff together as pals" said Sam.

"Perhaps. But I wouldn't want to spoil the Wiggles' plans" said Paul.

"Nobody spoils anything the Wiggles have planned" said Calvin bluntly. "If something comes up, they make room for it."

"Yeah. And you've met them; they like you" said Sam.

"Not as much as I like them. When Jeremy took me to meet them, they made me feel so welcome. They taught me to dance... and made me feel genuinely happy" said Paul. 

"That's what the Wiggles are all about" said Sam. "Genuine happiness."

The Wiggles themselves showed up just then.

"Wiggles, look who's here" said Calvin.

"It's Jeremy's cousin Paul" said Sam.

The Wiggles did their trademark finger wagging move. "Hi, Paul!" 

"Hullo, Wiggles. These two tell me you're taking them on holiday" said Paul.

"We sure are. They need it" said Anthony.

"I think we all do" Murray agreed. "Things have been a bit hectic back home."

"So they say" said Paul. 

"Well, at least there may not be anything dark happening" said Greg. 

Just then, they heard a crashing sound. 

"What the heck was that?" said Sam.

Passengers were running across the train, away from swirling black smoke-like thing that was grabbing stuff.

"What is that?!" said Jeff.

"It's the IT" said Calvin.

"Just when we mentioned darkness" said Sam.

"Run, kids!" said Jeff.

The Wiggles got away, but Calvin felt something grab him by the waist.

"Something's got me! Help me!" he yelped.

Sam turned around and grabbed her friend's hands to pull him back. 

"Cal!" she strained.

"It's got me!" Calvin yelled. 

"No! I gotcha" said Sam, still pulling him. 

"Sam, hurry!" said Calvin.

Soon, the IT's reach became too strong and pulled him away from Sam.

"I can't hold on!" Calvin screamed. 

"Cal!" Sam shrieked. 

"Calvin!" Paul gasped.

He ran after him, but another arm grabbed him too! 

"Paul, no!" Sam sobbed. 

Soon, the IT disappeared, taking Paul and Calvin with it. 

The Wiggles came back and saw Sam alone.

"Sam?" said Jeff. "Where are Calvin and Paul?"

"The IT took them, and I have no idea where" said Sam.

"And that thing makes darkness, right?" said Murray.

"Worse. It replaces happiness with depression" said Sam.

"It might make Calvin depressed too. And we can't have that" said Greg. 

"We have to rescue him" said Anthony. 

"Wiggles, I'm not letting you near the IT. This calls for the experts" said Sam.

"Right. We'll wait for you. Call Charles; quick" said Murray.

Sam took out her flip-phone to call Charles Wallace.
