Reunion

Dorcas and Gayle led the three up a winding staircase. 

The long climb was making Jeremy tired.

"You sure you're okay, Jeremy?" said Sam.

"Not really" Jeremy confessed.

"I can tell. You're full term now" said Charles Wallace. 

"Wait; you're pregnant?" said Dorcas.

"Yes. And it's gone by faster than usual" said Jeremy. 

"Alright, that cares it. I think how long it went by depended on how long it took to get here" said Sam.

"That makes total sense. Now we really need to hurry" said Charles Wallace.

They continued up the stairs until they got to what looked like a backstage area near the podium where the preacher stands. 

"Calvin dear" said Gayle. "Someone to see you."

Calvin turned around and saw his friends. 

"Guys!" he exhaled.

He ran up to his pals and hugged them. 

Charles Wallace jumped on Calvin to give him a hug. 

"You guys made it okay?" he said.

"Yeah. We 'any timed' for ya" said Sam.

"Here's your uniform, Cal" said Charles Wallace. 

"Is Paul alright, lad? Are you alright?" said Jeremy. 

"Paul's great, Jeremy; we're both great" said Calvin as he put on his uniform.

Then he got a glimpse at how Jeremy looked.

"Am I losing my senses, or are you full-term after just a few days?" said Calvin.

"There's not a lot of information, Cal; he just got further along as we got closer to finding you" Sam explained. 

"We think the IT has something to do with it" said Charles Wallace.

"Makes sense to me" said Calvin. "We found out about it right before I got here."

"Oh dear! It must be the IT's magic" said Dorcas. 

"But he hasn't gone into labor by any chance, has he?" said Calvin.

"Ask Jeremy that. He's been looking tired" said Sam.

"Tired, yes. But nothing hurts" said Jeremy.

"Then you're well enough to crash the wedding?" said Calvin.

"Even if I wasn't I'd do it. I must" said Jeremy. "Where is Paul?"

"Out there, getting married" said Gayle.

"We have to rescue him before Jackie says I do" said Dorcas.

"Follow me" said Calvin. 

He led them around the corner of the chapel and to the entrance of the chapel.

"Jeremy, this is your moment" said Sam.

They opened the doors just as the preacher said, "if anyone has any objections..."

Jeremy ran in and said "I object!"

Paul and Jackie turned around and saw his face.

"Jackie. This has gone far enough" scolded Jeremy.

Paul ran up the aisle and hugged his cousin. 

"You made it" he said. 

"I couldn't just let the IT enslave you" said Jeremy.
