It was very late at night. Soobin's room was filled with darkness. He was in his dreamland. His face had a small smile even though he was asleep. He was no longer afraid to fall asleep because of his nightmare. Rather he fell asleep while he was still on his phone, conversing with his dearest one. In the dark room, his face was nearly shining as if he was the moon princess. It seemed like he was having some kind of sweet dreams. Unfortunately, his phone started ringing all of a sudden and he shrunk his face as it was disrupting his beauty sleep. His phone kept ringing until he finally woke up and received it.
"HeLLo!" Soobin was still half asleep and didn't notice who called him. He even had no idea who might call him at this late night as his brain wasn't working at that moment.
"Soobin-ah!" Hearing the voice, Soobin sprang up as he was wide awake. He looked at the screen and noticed it was an unknown number. He got scared and cut the call. But after he hung up the call, his phone started ringing again.
What does this guy want from him? Why did he keep bugging him? Soobin couldn't understand anything. He looked at his phone which was still ringing. Should he pick up the phone? To listen to what he wanted to say? But, what could he say more than acting innocent? He sighed and tried his best to calm his frightened heart down. If he acts stronger, would he stop bugging him? Soobin wanted to try his hypothesis. And this is why after struggling for quite a while, he received the call.
Although he received the call, he remained silent.
"Soobin-ah! Don't hang up, okay? I-I have something to say to you. Won't you give me a chance?" he asked with a very soft voice. In reply, Soobin sighed. Though he was feeling as if someone was pressing his throat and couldn't talk, he didn't hang up the call.
"Hurry up." Soobin said in a low voice after gathering a lot of courage.
"Let's meet, okay? I really have something very important to say to you and I don't think it'd be proper to say that over the phone. So, please give me a chance just to have a talk with you, please? You choose the date, time and place. I'll...." He was still going on, but needed to stop since Soobin interrupted.
"PLEASE! CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU'RE THE LAST PERSON I WANNA SEE IN THIS WORLD? WHATEVER THE FUCK IS UP, SAY THAT RIGHT NOW CAUSE I'M GIVING YOU THE CHANCE. DON'T THINK YOU'VE GOT THE PREMIUM CAUSE I JUST GAVE YOU A CHANCE TO TALK! IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA SAY ANYTHING, I'M HANGING UP!" Soobin's heart was beating at its top speed as he was so scared, but angry at the same time. He was shouting on the phone because he knew he'd freak out if he didn't do so. After he finished, he was breathing heavily as he said all the things without taking a break.
"O-okaaay! Calm down! I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't hang up, hm?" He said in a very soft voice as if he was trying to tame a crazy beast.
"Now, listen. I'm really sorry. You know I was really drunk at that time and whatever I did to you, I remember them vaguely. But, I know it wasn't a pleasant memory for you. Because of it, you hate me from your heart's core, don't you? Soobin-ah! It's been so long since that incident. Can't you forget about it? Can't you forgive me just once? I-I know I-I Am unforgivable. But, you know what? I really developed feelings for you. And maybe that's why I made the mistake while I was drunk. And I still feel the same way about you. This is why I am regretting this every moment. I am the one getting consequences of it everyday. I-I just can't forget you. I-I wanna see you. I miss you every single moment. I know I shouldn't...have these feelings towards you. I shouldn't say these things to you. I shouldn't. But, what can I do? You just ruined me. You ruined me." He stopped babbling and sighed.
"I ruined you?" Soobin scoffed mockingly, surprising the guy over the phone.
"Whatever you were saying or trying to do....please save it! I don't wanna listen anymore. You say, you're the one getting consequences? Do you know how funny that just sounds? I can't eat, sleep or do the daily chores because of you. And you're saying I ruined you? Great! This is how you're gonna apologize? Then, you have to keep trying till the end of the world. However, I don't wanna pull it any longer. Your time is up. You apologized and I don't think I can accept your apology. I don't wanna see you or hear from you. So, please stop bothering me from now on. I have nothing to do or say to you. Goodbye." After saying that, Soobin hung up the call and leaned on the bed. He sighed as his chest was feeling heavy again as well as having hard time breathing.
He was quite surprised himself by thinking how he became so brave that he just scolded the guy he was afraid of the most. But, he understood his asthma was going to attack him again. So, he took his inhaler which was right inside the drawer of the table beside his bed. After inhaling it, he felt better and then leaned against the bed again. He looked at his phone and saw that number floating on his screen again. He blocked the number and pressed his phone lightly against his forehead. If Yeonjun knows about this guy, how'd he react? Soobin wondered. Should he tell him about this matter? What if he starts hating him? What if he starts feeling disgusted by seeing him after hearing all of this? He didn't really know what he should even think about. He laid down slowly, but all of his sleepiness went away because of the anxiety and depression he was having again.
_____________________________On the other side, the guy who was talking with Soobin over the phone, tried to call him again and again. But, every time he tried to ring him up, his phone seemed to be turned off. And he understood Soobin just blocked his new number again.
"Aish! I was so close!" He threw his phone away as he was very angry.

Inside the neat and clean kitchen of the bakery, Soobin was standing beside the dough maker machine. He was holding a bowl and pouring the eggs which he broke a while ago into the huge bowl where the other ingredients like butter and sugar were being mixed. He was wearing a black colored shirt which's sleeves were folded nicely, giving him a cool vibe. On the top of the shirt, he had to wear the apron since he was working as a baker. He was late today and that's why he didn't have time to change into his white uniform. He was staring at the bowl while pouring the raw eggs one by one. Everything that happened the day before, he was thinking about them. His heart wasn't calming down at all and so was his head.
"You'll make a hole in my machine at this rate." Arin came to him, noticing something was wrong with him. After hearing her voice, Soobin came back to reality while gasping slowly.
"Ah! Noona! When did you come? It's gonna be done in the blink of an eye." Soobin said, putting on a slight smile, acting as if he was all fine.
"Stop, I'll do the rest. Someone is looking for you. Go and see what he wants from you." Arin said in a rude voice though she was trying her best to cover up for her smirk.
"Who?" Soobin's wide, curious eyes were so endearing that Arin found it impossible to remain harsh.
"Your lover, I guess?" Arin finally smirked.
"Huh? H-How..." Soobin was shocked because he never told her that he accepted Yeonjun's feelings. Moreover, he just started dating the previous night. So, how did she know? He wondered.
"I got a hunch. Now hurry up." Arin shrugged her shoulders and acted as if she was very proud of herself. In reply, Soobin grinned, looking at her and put the bowl away since he finished pouring all the eggs in the bowl.
"Thanks! I'll cover the night shift to make up for today." Soobin's grin widened as he rushed out to see his favorite person. Arin shook her head slowly while smiling, looking at Soobin who just went away.
"Hey, Mimi! Come and do the rest." Arin ordered her subordinate.
