Chapter 37

[Two weeks later]

Soobin was working very cheerfully. A special person is coming today so he tried to look his best. He combed his hair nicely and wore his favorite tshirt. For the past two weeks he couldn't see him and thinking about him coming to the bakery today, gave him boundless joy and excitement. Moreover, he said he had a surprise for him. What could it be? He couldn't even guess. He was humming while decorating a cake with some chocolate ganache.

"Oy-hoy! What made my cutie all glow up?" Arin entered and seeing his gleamed face, made her a little curious as well as happy.

"Oh, Noona! I came a little earlier so I was making some cakes." Soobin smiled and answered.

"Didn't you have classes? It's so early in the morning!" Arin had a bag on her shoulder. Looks like she just came to work.

"I don't! Moreover, my classes are going to end soon! That's why I'm a little excited." Soobin replied again, keeping the smile on his face.

"Really? That means, your exam is so close!"

"Yeah! Don't worry! I won't slack off from work! I can study at night!"

"Still, if you need some time off, do tell me, okay? Don't push yourself too hard!" Arin also smiled.

"Uhm!" Soobin nodded and continued his work.

"Oh, right! Soobin-ah! Could you please take care of the bakery by yourself today? I have some family matters to attend to." Arin searched something inside her bag while asking.

"Okay! You can count on me!" Soobin nodded and made a serious face so that Arin could have faith in him.

"I know, I can count on you!" Here's the key to the cash drawer. If you need something, just draw some cash out, okay? I'll take my leave now." Arin smiled and gave a key to Soobin. Then she left through the door while Soobin was staring at her though he was thinking about something else.

The bakery was a little crowded today. But, Soobin's eyes were searching for a certain person. Though he was very busy, he hoped for that person to come. He was missing him very much.

After a while, he noticed Yeonjun was coming. His face beamed with joy. He was looking dashing as always. Soobin didn't notice himself, but he blushed as soon as he saw him. What was the excitement he was feeling? And why was he so nervous? He couldn't find an answer. Should he just go and welcome him? No! That would be inappropriate! He never welcomed any customers so, how can he just go now? He slapped himself slowly to come back into senses.

But, there was another person with Yeonjun who he never saw. And while entering through the door, Yeonjun put his hand on his shoulder and hugged him. He was looking as pretty as a girl. Both of them were smiling and talking while coming. Moreover, they were so close to each other that there was no personal space between them. Suddenly, Soobin's face became gloomy. He went to the customers to serve them their dishes.

At that moment, Yeonjun and his friend took their seats and Yeonjun called Soobin by his name. Hearing his name, Soobin looked back and smiled at Yeonjun. After he was done with his serving, he came towards Yeonjun.

"H-hi!" Soobin got nervous all of a sudden.

"Hey! It's been a long, right! Oh, no! We talked just yesterday! Haha! I missed you! But I couldn't come because I got stuck with work!" Yeonjun sighed as if he was truly disappointed.

"Ah! Really!" Soobin couldn't reply much as he didn't know how he should reply.

"Oh, right! I told you I have a surprise, right? Here it is!" He pointed at his friend at the other side of the table with his hand and grinned at him.

"Huh?" Soobin was confused.

"Meet my boyfriend, Beomgyu!" Yeonjun looked at Beomgyu and said.

"Beomgyu! This is Soobin, who I told you about." Yeonjun introduced them happily.

"Hi! Pleasure to meet you!" Beomgyu extended his hand towards Soobin, putting his huge and cute smile on his face.

"Hello!" Soobin took his hand and greeted.

"What do you want to eat, baby?" Yeonjun asked while looking at Beomgyu.

"You choose!" Beomgyu acted as if he was very shy.

"Okay, then give us two Choco... choc... chocolate... what was the name again? Ah! Sorry! I keep forgetting the name, but you can understand, right?" Yeonjun said, looking at Soobin. He was trying to secretly judge Soobin's attitude after he introduced Beomgyu as his boyfriend.

"You mean, Dark Chocolate Kiss?" Soobin asked with a very normal face.

"Oh, yeah! That's the one I was trying to mention." Yeonjun faked a smile as Soobin's reaction didn't meet his expectations.

"Okay, two *Dark Chocolate Kiss*, then. Please wait for a few minutes. Do you need something other than that?" Soobin asked while taking notes.

"And a regular iced Americano for me." Yeonjun said while looking at Soobin and then he moved his sight on Beomgyu.

"Would you like something to drink, baby?" He asked.

"Um... just milk coffee would be fine for me, I guess!" Beomgyu replied.

"Okay, two Dark Chocolate Kisses, one iced Americano, one regular coffee. Thanks for the order. Please wait for a few minutes!" Soobin left without taking a look at Yeonjun, which made him feel disappointed.

"What was that? You said, he's a small boy you have a crush on. But, from which side do you think he's small? He's so tall! His hands are so pretty as his fingers are very thin and long!" Beomgyu was all excited because what he thought Soobin would be and what Soobin really was, was completely different.

"Hahaha! You're making me shy now! Yes! I know I have high standards." Yeonjun made a proud face as if he was really proud of the boy he likes.

"He's just my type!" Beomgyu tried to sneak a peek at Soobin, but he wasn't visible.

"Hey! You're here to help me to get him! Not the other way around! Don't you dare to go and seduce him! Otherwise..." Yeonjun was getting aggressive all of a sudden.

"Otherwise, what? Hm?" Beomgyu came very close to Yeonjun and lightly hit his head with his forehead.

"I'll...I'll tell Taehyun that you're cheating on him." Yeonjun pushed Beomgyu's forehead with his. It looked as if they were calves fighting for food.

"Go and try it! I dare you!" Beomgyu also pushed Yeonjun with his head. They didn't notice how the people around them were staring at them.

"Here's your order." Soobin looked very depressed when he came to deliver their orders. That's the look Yeonjun was hoping to see. This is it! Wooyoung didn't lie, right! Yeonjun giggled when he thought Soobin was jealous of Beomgyu. Now, should he tell him the truth or should he tease him more? Would he accept him if he told him the truth and proposed to him right then? When he was thinking all of it and his head was on the cloud, he heard a sound of metal. Seemed like someone dropped their utensils. He didn't bother to look back at first. After he heard Soobin's voice, he looked back. And what he saw, made him completely astounded.

He saw Soobin was bending beside a table. He might have been trying to pick something up from the floor while the customer, who was sitting right next to him, groped his butt. Seeing the scenery, Yeonjun's blood started boiling, but he couldn't understand what he should do.
