I quickly jumped into the shower while Athena was busy preparing herself in front of her vanity. She had already finished freshening up, and I could hear her humming softly as I let the warm water wash over me. I couldn't help but smile at how calm everything felt after what we shared.

As soon as I was done, I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my waist before stepping out of the bathroom. My hair was still dripping wet, but I grabbed my toothbrush and quickly brushed my teeth, feeling refreshed.

When I stepped back into the room, Athena was staring at me. Her eyes roamed over my torso for a moment, lingering a bit longer than usual. I chuckled to myself, trying not to tease her. She blinked and then smirked before pointing at the suit she had laid out on the bed.

"Yan ang isusuot mo today," she said, a teasing glint in her eyes.

I raised an eyebrow, looking at the suit. "Nag-prepare ka talaga ng outfit ko?"

She shrugged nonchalantly but there was a smile tugging at her lips. "Syempre. I want you looking so pogi. Di ba?"

I laughed softly and nodded. "Yes, ma'am. Mukhang maganda ang taste mo, ha."

Athena chuckled as she stood up and walked over to me, playfully adjusting the towel around my waist. "Magbihis ka na. We have a big day ahead."

I winked at her and grabbed the suit. "Sana magustuhan mo pag suot ko na 'to."

She smirked again, but I could tell by the way she was looking at me that she already approved.

"Trust me, McKenzie," she said, her voice dropping slightly, "I already do."

We held hands as we made our way out to her car, feeling a comfortable warmth between us. The cool morning breeze hit our faces, but it did little to cool the heat of the connection that lingered between us. As we reached her car, she tossed me the keys with a mischievous smile.

"Do you even know how to drive?" she teased, raising an eyebrow playfully.

I chuckled, catching the keys mid-air. "Of course, I do," I replied confidently. "Why? Are you scared?"

She laughed and shook her head. "Nope. Just don't crash my baby," she warned jokingly.

"Trust me, I'll take care of it," I said, opening the door for her before walking over to the driver's side. The moment I settled into the seat, I could feel her watching me with an amused smile as I adjusted the mirrors and buckled up.

"Ready?" I asked, glancing over at her.

Athena nodded, still grinning. "Ready."

I started the engine, the smooth purr of the car vibrating under us. As I pulled out of the driveway, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement wash over me. There was something thrilling about driving her car, knowing she trusted me enough to let me take the wheel.

As we hit the road, Athena leaned back in her seat, looking at me with a smile that made my heart skip a beat.

"You know," she said, "I don't usually let anyone else drive my car."

I glanced over at her, grinning. "Well, I guess that makes me special, doesn't it?"

She laughed softly, her fingers lightly brushing against mine as they rested on the gearshift. "Yeah... I guess it does."
