The next morning, I decided to skip work, choosing instead to stay in bed and snuggle with Athena. She was still full of questions about my life. Her curiosity never seemed to end, and it made me smile.

"So, Oxford University talaga ha?" she asked, her head resting on my chest, eyes focused on me. "You and your cousins, all summa cum laude. And no one knew? 

I chuckled, brushing her hair away from her face. "Yep, Oxford. And yeah, we all graduated with honors."

She narrowed her eyes at me, pretending to be mad. "So, MJ was lying to my face? All those times she said 'UP Manila'? Sinakyan lang pala niya."

I laughed harder this time. "Well, technically, we asked her to lie for us. You know, to keep things simple. At para masaya din."

"Simple?!" She glared at me, giving my side a playful pinch. "You guys had me and my friends fooled

"When did you first saw me?" Athena asked, her curiosity deepening.

I smiled, recalling the moment. "I was 16. It was a gala night under the moonlight. You looked stunning, of course—everyone was staring at you. I couldn't resist, so I walked over and introduced myself."

Athena tilted her head, interested. "Wait, you introduced yourself to me? What did I say?"

I grinned, remembering. "You smiled, and then you introduced yourself back. You were all formal and polite, 'Hello, McKenzie Nice to meet you" gaya ko sa boses niya that made her laugh

Athena burst out laughing, nearly falling off the bed. "Oh my God, you remember that?"

I nodded, playfully glaring at her. "Of course I remember! Who forgets being asked if they'd jump off a building on their first day? Akala ko seryoso ka! I was sitting there like, 'Is this a trick question or is this woman actually crazy?'
