Weaknesses

I'm not used to luxury anymore that's why when I saw a modern courtyard residence with expansive glass walls, natulala na lang ako. Aside from the coconut palms I had seen, I could also smell the salt in the air and hear the wild waves, indicating that we were near the sea.

Yakap-yakap ko ang sarili, mahigpit ang hawak sa kumot na nakabalot sa'kin habang nakikisabay sa kanilang paglalakad. Mister Valdigierro was in front while his men are behind me, slowly dispersing into thin air until me, Mister Valdigierro and Guwardiya sibil are only left there.

Ang pathway na nilalakaran namin ay hindi naman gaanong masakit sa paa at malinis iyon kaya nakaya ko naman kahit wala akong suot na slipper o sapatos. Sa galit at pagmamadali kanina ay hindi na ako nakapag-isip ng maayos at sinugod sila. Well, I'm not expecting that this would happen too.

I was in awe when the glass door suddenly open without Mister Valdigierro touching it or saying anything. Bago pa masarhan ay mabilis ko na siyang sinundan. And damn, boy. The inside are far more breathtakingly beautiful. Ang hagdan papuntang pangalawang palapag ay parang nakalutang.

Through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, biophilic designs, green walls, and open areas that let in natural light and offer views of the ocean to enjoy, the courts seamlessly incorporate modern contemporary with natural elements to bring the outdoors inside.

Everything about this place is just relaxing and homey. And I would much appreciate this place if they're not only here. Sa ganitong lugar ko gustong magbakasyon pero hindi kasama ang mga ito.

"Oh! Fuck!"

"You lose, Sir Chen. Give me my five euros."

And there is the annoying Mister smiling face, Sir Hildegard. But I'm starting to like him actually. He's really cute with his chubby cheeks and a bit taste of old-fashioned.

Next to him, a tall man is unable to hide his displeasure as he slams the money into Sir Hildegard's palm. "I thought you were dead. I've just lost five euros."

Mister Valdigierro didn't say anything and just headed straight towards the stairs while the other guy walked past beside me while chuckling.

"Ikaw." Turo ko sa lalaking tinawag ni Sir Hildegard na Chen ng mamukhaan ito. "Ikaw iyong nasa Casino Blood Win. Iyong Intsik na papansin. Anong nangyari sa buhok mo?"

Ang pagkakatanda ko ay kulay itim ang buhok niya. He just playfully disheveled his hair as a reply to my question.

"Good evening, Miss Yuson." Sir Hildegard greeted me with a wide smile plastered on his face. "I'm just Sir Oz Valdigierro's secretary in the meantime, but I'm his butler and personal chef."

Mukhang nabasa niya ang katanungan at pagtataka sa mukha ko.

"In short alipin ka niya?"

Mukhang hindi naman siya naaapektuhan niyon.

"And believed it or not, that's his natural hair. It's in their genes." Sagot naman niya sa tanong ko kani-kanina.

No way.

It's not blonde, but it's really silver-white. It's kind of cool, though. He looks like an anime character. A typical chinito with a pointed nose and perfect jaw. He's wearing a crimson-fitted v-neck shirt that shows he has a well-built body, rugged black pants and leather boots. The tribal tattoo that almost covers his left arm makes him a lot more intimidating.

"When did you arrive?" Tanong ni Guwardiya Sibil sa lalaki.

"Just an hour ago. I heard what happened. Did you catch the guy who shot The Boss?" Then he gazed at me, walang pagkagulat o kahit pagtataka man lamang. "And who is this little kitten?"
