Crystal's POV
Should I unite my group with Chloe's and with Lucas? That was what I was wondering while packing bento recess for both me and Chloe. I started ever since the beginning of my Girl Guides journey where I was getting a badge about health.

While looking at the chicken on the wok sizzling away, I pondered about a possible union between the two groups. Was a 8 person group too big? Was it too small? Who am I doing this for, even? Then I thought back to the days I was still a kid...

"You may now turn over your papers," my math teacher announced. I turned it around and almost fainted to see a 63.

"Considering how much you struggled with the class practices with the tuition, this isn't too bad," Ethan coaxed. All of a sudden, my paper disappeared like a ghost sucked it up but I realised it was a classmate.

"Oh look, there's the Crystal with the 63!" My classmate declared. "Stupid, right? Our class shouldn't have her, the academically all rounded class!" My face burned and hot tears stung my eyes as I dashed out of class from the humiliation I was subjected to.
Present day
At that moment, I decided I was not going to let anyone go through what I went through. With Lucas as class monitor, I wouldn't be able to do great things. But maybe Fiona has a point; all of us take diverse subject combinations. We would be able to help one another with our studies and shine as one. I decided to form a group chat that night and gather everyone to ask if they wanted to do this. Everyone agreed to the idea, and Lucas decided to help Ethan open up to me again.

Ethan's POV
"Why did you blindfold me?" I asked. "You know I look like an idiot like that."

"It's not that bad," Lucas coaxed. "You won't regret it." The footsteps stopped and Lucas stopped, so I stopped. All of a sudden, I heard a familiar voice speak. And the closer I listened to it, the more I realised it wasn't Chloe or Nicole, it was a matured Crystal.

"I'm calling everyone here because I was asking if we could band together as one. We were students of the top class, yes I know, but we're in for the challenges as one 3 Faith. We are only a top class because we proved ourselves. So rather than compete one another for the top, we can all be at the top together. Who's with me?"

A lot of "me"s filled the air and I was slowly led to the centre, where I was supposed to do an "arms in" thing, but not in a music group way. And that's when I learnt of the name of the group: 8 point compass.

Yet, I was still baffled by everything going on. I decided to take off my blindfold Lucas forced on me "to show me something" and put my everyday glasses back on. And that's when I realised, the possibility of Crystal Ong forming the group was close to possible. "Crystal, is that you?" I screamed in excitement.

"Yes," she admitted. "We're back together after pursuing our popularity dreams, huh? And sorry if I made you uncomfortable with all those 'side eyes' at NDP last year."

"You don't have to apologise, I should be the one apologising. I didn't even put a little bit of effort to keep the friendship going."

"It's not your fault, blame the school for not putting us in the same lower secondary class. Anyway, we reunited so I can't ask for more."
Anika's POV
And right after that, the duo started catching up right away. They smiled brighter than ever and I could tell they did want to reunite despite everything that happened. No, their reunion brought this group together, so I'm glad. I'm looking forward to a future with everyone.

A/N: Hello everyone! Lore drop—Crystal, Chloe and Ethan were in NDP the previous year, a national scale performance! Chloe stuck with Crystal throughout and Ethan had his group, so Crystal wasn't too happy about that so she acted a little rough near him. But let's not bring it up anymore because they're friends again~~~
