Ethan's POV
Dropping a packet of oats, I declared, "Guys, let's get  started. Let's all contribute one packet each for the hamper." Everyone nodded and slapped the items on the table. I knew what Crystal was going to do because she discussed it, so she got the ball rolling with a hamper wrapping. Yes, she's an influencer and we have given her the green light to do a trend with hamper wrapping.

"I'm Crystal and I brought Milo packets." She then dropped it into the basket.

"I'm Ethan and I brought oats." I dropped my oats into the basket.

"I'm John and I brought biscuits." He placed the biscuits in the basket.

"I'm YZ and I brought Maggie mee." He placed the Maggie mee in the basket.

"I'm Lucas and I brought coffee." He dropped the coffee packets in the basket.

"I'm Chloe and I brought crackers." She dropped the crackers in the basket.

"I'm Anika and I brought tea." She dropped the tree a in the basket.
YZ's POV
Imagine being in the group of a guide! Crystal was starting to look at the basket and started to arrange everything, as if she was trying to find a way to arrange the goods in the basket in a way it was compact. To everyone's horror, she was trying to roll some of our items into the basket.

And like she was a sculptor, some of us tried to arrange something with the goods, asking our friends whether it sat well with them. Eventually, we rolled 3 of the goods up, and forced Ethan to use his hands to put pressure on the such that they don't crumble. We forced 2 packets of food next to the rolled up food packets. But then there's the last 2 packets.

"Anika aren't you in National Police Cadet Corps?" I bellowed. "Don't you camp?"

"Right, but I'm cooked! What the sigma?" Anika replied coolly. She just slammed the food packets on the top of the rolled-up ones.
Chloe's POV
Since Mdm Yeo approved our design, we were allowed to wrap the hamper. I took the wrapping paper and started to wrap around the hamper. Some hands adjusted my creation and we all arranged the ribbons on the hamper with my flavours. Ethan added on the ribbons and our class name, before Crystal went off to ship it to the dance studio.
Crystal's POV
On the way to the dance studio, I stared at the hamper. The hamper wasn't significant, but it contained memories of my last normal days with Ethan before our new classes caused a rift in our friendship.
Flashback
2 years back
"And they were supposed to end at 5," Ethan told me. "But they extended it to 5.15 and then 5.30 and all." I was listening intently to Ethan describe his first rough days in table tennis. After all, we had a chance to be together. I was the class' VIA* rep back then, and we were carrying the hampers to the school foyer.

After putting them down, I just took out the phone in my pocket and shyly pointed it to myself. Shifting the camera to Ethan, he also joined in too and we managed to ingrain one of the last moments as friends together. (Or so I thought)

Present day
Ethan couldn't accompany me anymore because he wasn't relieving a class monitor and VIA rep unlike 2 years ago, but community service makes me feel warm and fuzzy everytime. And doing it with friends probably makes the experience better. I want to do what I like and still stay close to my friends at the same time.
