Fiona Chan's POV
"Ah, MacDonalds breakfast is always the best!" I blurted. "Youre a genius, thanks for the suggestion!" I sipped my espresso, expressing its strength and fragrance as I stepped into a new day with conviction and strength. And today was one I should. I was going to not only attend a leadership camp, but also a party for the outgoing student council members.
Teddy's POV
"Crystal, you're CCA leader to be?" I asked in confusion."Yea," she replied casually. "Company leader."
"Oh, I'm going to be vice president of Infocomm." Yes, I know Crystal. She was in my NDP friend group last year. Alongside Keira and Fiona Tan. I allowed her to sit behind me since we were supposed to group by CCA.
We were taught the different principles of leadership and how we should always act with service. After the theory bit of leadership, we managed to break into groups for discussion.
As for me, I had to work with all the other presidents/vice-presidents of the Clubs and Societies. We were all discussing about what we had learnt and how we would apply them as new CCA leaders. All of us got into a passionate discussion about how we could apply it, even bickering about which ideas to input into the chart. We didn't have a lot, but we were sure that through the vivid discussions did we have good ideas.
Lucas' POV
"Finally, we can get ✨free seating!✨" I declared, sitting with Nicole (vice president of choir), Ethan (student councillor) and Crystal (we know what she is). I opened my bento and was relieved to realise there's nothing I hated. Green peas mashed with corn and carrots. Black pepper chicken. Brown rice? Well, it's better than Chloe's cooking at FCE.*All of a sudden, I got a pea pod. Looking up, I realised Crystal was bargaining us to eat the peas for her. I stifled a giggle. Even our company leader knew when to let her guard down, huh? And I came to realise even she had food she didn't like. She seemed to be the kind to eat everything! Well, that's some good breaking down of stereotypes here.
Ethan and Nicole showed us some pictures of their arcade date, and Crystal showed me photos of her picnic. Unfortunately, I had a concert coming up, so I was showing them post-practice selfies and the place I was going to perform at. Yet, they were all taking it like it was the esplanade when in reality it was a random hall in SOTA.
Ethan's POV
"Alright, student councillors!" I boomed, but not in an anger way. "Who knows what they want for the culture department in school?""We want teachers and students to have more teacher student interaction, of course!" Keira screamed.
"How?"
"During learning finale let both groups play games of their choices. All levels, by the way. No more sticking to testimony cups because that won't solve the problem!"
"Alright, anything else?"
"We're going to have cultural integrations this year through our international experiences! Let's do more by integrating our foreign friends into Kallang Christian."
"I like that, and we're going to cap here because the stupid boxes have little space." Yea this was met by groans.

"We intend to make this a CCA a CCA for all girls, now figuratively!" Crystal declared. "Starting this year, the company leaders assign the badges each patrol has to work on to avoid the possibility of a dense composition on stereotypical feminine skills. After all, we are making a difference to our girls, not reviving lost life skills. Hence, there is now an interest badge ban at the patrol level, and girls must approach a guider herself should she desire to start one."It's no surprise she became company leader. I never thought of such a creative idea in my life, even as a student council member. And even the student leader teacher in charge was gushing over her ideas.
Shay's POV
Auditorium
We're going to F F I I GHT
We're going to S S C C ORE
We're going fight and score and beat the rest
Team KCP is the best! The soon to be student council exco members lead of us into a cheer. We screamed the cheer with our best school spirit. After all, we were building the spirit of a student leader. We were leading our peers to success. And I knew it with our shared passion, all in one.
Epilogue
Dance studio
Shay: time flies. One minute we were wide eyed Sec 1s understanding what is leadership and now everyone's becoming the head of something.Ethan: so true. Even though I'm not going to be head of something, it's something, y'know. Everyone's shining in their own way now, and that's the most important now. And yes, we're all growing up. It's our turn to graduate next year...
Nicole's POV
Dear Nicole, it is with great pleasure that you have been shortlisted for the Japan trip interviews. Please meet at the dance studio at 4pm on Monday, 18 March. Thank you.I jumped up and down in my room. I got my first choice of Japan, then messaging Chloe to see if she got the trip. She was dying to go on one of these trips. I hope her wishes have come true.
