Ethan's POV
Crystal stepped out of the changing room, with her hair carried in a super high ponytail. Her bikini was a hot pink, decorated with fine white and blue stripes. She even walked like she was modelling on the stage, hence I couldn't help but sneak a photo on my camera, before stuffing it into my bag like nothing ever happened.

"Speak of the devil," YZ suddenly exclaimed. "You're not a Jennifer going for international squad tryouts."

"If that was the case," Crystal joked. "I'd be long kicked out. Come on, this is probably one of the last time we can have fun until our year end exams end. Let's go."
Chloe's POV
Royal Flush
Fitting everyone into the raft, YZ gave the staff the cue and she pressed the button, sending me, Nicole, Ethan and Crystal into the most thrilling ride ever. The raft sped off from its starting point, rocking from side to side on the water course. We were on a circular slide for sure, and that slide was sliding up and down and it was even spinning all around. But no one even minded, we were screaming in a good way until we ended up dropping down the slide and sped through the slide down. Yet, exhilaration was all we felt from start to finish.

Nicole's POV

Torpedo

"Did I ask to hang out for this?!" John bellowed.

"Just try," I screamed from the other Torpedo. "You're never going to ride this Torpedo again." I then dropped down from my Torpedo, where the water current defied gravity and I was going at 300 miles an hour.  Closing my eyes, I felt the liberty of falling from the sky (literally) with my screams intertwining with the sound of gushing water. I screamed so loud and with so much passion it felt surreal when I heard a splash. Opening my eyes, all I saw was some clear water. I pushed myself up to then see the shore and John shaking off the water on him.

"Wasn't as bad as you thought, huh?" I asked John. He nodded, before stumbling to the next station because he wasn't used to sliding at such high speeds.

Crystal's POV

The water work giant spinning water slide

Giggling out loud, I squealed as I let the slide take me in all directions. That was the purpose of the slide, after all. It never stopped curving, and it had both open and sheltered slides. You would never expect what came next: the shade or the sun. I decided to close my eyes to enhance the fun, because that meant I would be guessing whether I was sliding under the sun or under the shaded slide. The current ran at normal speed, but with me in it, everything just sped out. I was squealing until I was silenced by a shade of grey. Letting myself tread it in for a while, it was only then did I realise my ride has ended. Yet I decided to get up again to experience more thrills.

Lucas' POV

Ola Beach Club

We decided to end the day with some western food. Just as I was going to tuck in into some fish and chips, Ethan decided to whip out his camera and turned it at us. "This is our afterparty," he declared into the camera and then snapped it with the camera head facing us.

"So you're going to tag me and Crystal in your daily photography post?" I asked cheekily. Ethan nodded. Ever since he got a camera for his 13th birthday, he has been taking photos with it daily since and posted all of it on Instagram. This was one of the moments he decided to photograph, and I could understand why. And then, he directed the lense to his chicken chop and my fish and chips.

"Have you considered that your parents would slaughter you for using up their film?"

"I only get 5 boxes of film every year for my birthday. I'm not as stupid as to take 10 photos with this daily, y'know? My daily limit is 3." While eating, we were laughing and chatting, happily absorbing one of the last normal moments as 8 for a while. And back then, we didn't know it'll be the last.

Mrs Nur's residence

Mrs Nur's POV

"But it's going to take 10 minutes for me to explain!" I screamed on my phone. "You really think it's not going to affect Crystal's A Math results?"

"It's too late to change them," Mr Sam said on the other line. "They are getting back their results tomorrow. Anyway, if you want to let her know she's got an opportunity this prestigious I will close both eyes about her disappearing for 10 minutes straight. Her A Math seatmate is super good at both Maths, he will help her catch up for sure! I'm sure of it!"
