Crystal's POV
"I am so sorry for coming in at a time like this," Mrs Nur said urgently. "But I need to speak to Crystal." I rushed out of the classroom, with my friends wishing me "good luck" and hoping it's a good thing along the way. Yet, I was led to the study corner on the third floor, so I knew it was a big and good piece of news.
Study corner
Mrs Nur: you're going to be the main character Melody for Symphony of Dreams. We have four shows planned out, so we're going to get you to perform all four

Crystal: (in denial) but why?

Mrs Nur: we have a school musical every year, but this is the first time in our Kallang Christian history did we have a non-drama student in this. It was too prestigious an achievement to have a second Melody. And I just called your mother and she said yes.

Crystal: OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! Thank you~

Mrs Nur: well, I hope your A Math results don't end up mocking you; heard they're being released right now. Smirks All the 3 Faith teachers have greenlit this decision so you'd be having Tuesday and Thursday drama rehearsals on top of your Girl Guide activities. And next term, you'll be having combined rehearsals with the rest of the performers on those two exact same days. But do you know why I got you play on the piano?

Crystal: her acting activities need it

Mrs Nur: there's a scene where she runs away and plays the piano to comfort herself. She had to learn how to for a gig, so she found a hotel piano and played that to comfort herself after an argument with her parents following bad grades. And you have to play the piano with someone else too. So take this script and piano score and learn your lines, ok? I will see you tomorrow.

Crystal: see you tomorrow! Now for both literature and drama!
3 Faith classroom
When I got into 3 Faith, the first thing that I faced were a lot of questions. They asked me what was the reason I got pulled out and what were the pieces of papers in my hands. Some even lunged at the papers, so I had to raise it above my head. They were sacred pieces of paper and I wasn't going to let even bullies touch them.  However, Xingqiu managed to get a hold of the pieces of paper.

"Hey guys!" Xingqiu announced. "Crystal is in our school's centennial musical!"

"Really?" Ethan asked in disbelief. "What's her role?"

"I'm Melody," I replied. "Or should I say, the main character?"

The whole class screamed even louder. Keqing, Shenhe, Ningguang and Xingqiu all stood on the chairs and started screaming their cheers.

You're in 3 Faith
The best class
Chloe shouldn't you be more invincible than this??
All you do is typography
Meanwhile your sister is getting the lead role on the school play
So maybe you should hijack her immersion

"This cheer is even more relevant since it's confirmed Crystal and Ethan made it to the China trip for real!" Ningguang declared, and everyone chorused in unison.

"What's going on?" I asked in confusion.

"Chloe failed A Math with 2/30 now," Daphne explained. "It wasn't great like last time. But hey, you got 5/30 last time, right? You managed to pass this time, 15/30."

I heaved a sigh of relief as I looked at the relieving marks, before walking back to Xingqiu confidently. "Alright Xingqiu, you've got your spoilers for the school musical, huh?" I asked smugly. "I'll take this back so no one else knows the plot." Disappointed sighs echoed through the room, but I kept my head held high. I know what I want, and no one can change that.
Chloe's POV
Crystal is getting along well with even the bullies now! How is such a social butterfly? If she's not talking with Jennifer and their influencer friends, she was with her other friend groups. And I have just 8 point compass, supporting me despite the bullies being against me. My face flushed and I clenched my teeth. I stomped my feet and grabbed Keqing.

Flinging her on the ground, Keqing was quick to pick herself up. She lunged on me and I hit the floor with a thud. I punched her nose and blood started to flowing from her nose. Holding her face, I licked the blood off her face. She bit her face and I screamed. Keqing broke off from my grip and stood with her feet apart.

"So what?" She demanded in a low voice. "Ready to fight me, hm?"

"Always ready to," I replied with determination. The cheers grew louder as I took a deep breath and lunged myself to Keqing. Keqing's dance background was no match to my rookie status, she did a backflip towards me and punched me in my chest, but I was able to bounce back quickly. I grabbed her hand and bit it, stepping her foot while I was at it. All of a sudden, a fist came right at my glasses. I shook her vigorously, screaming at her for why she wanted such a violent attack.

"You two stop it!" Crystal screamed, pushing us back with both her hands. "Else you will pay for her new pair of glasses!"

"Chloe," Keqing told me with respect for once. "Take down this girl that makes you so miserable everyday."

I lunged at my own sister, but before I could do that, she pushed herself against the whiteboard without even a wince. Determined to end the comparisons once and for all, I dashed towards Keqing and carried her successfully, before throwing her on the ground, where a pool of blood was formed and doing the final blow of punching her chest multiple times.
Keqing's POV
My vision started to blur. Then I felt everything become black and fuzzy. The cheers of my dear class started to go shrill, and the frequency increased. The flashes between clear and fuzzy alternated as my world slowly darkened and there was one last screech.
Crystal's POV
"Start chest compressions!" I declared. "1, 2, 3, 4!" Chanting those 4 numbers nonstop, Daphne lent me a hand by carrying the AED to the classroom. We shocked Keqing, but to no avail. I continued the chest compressions while Ethan found an extra shirt to compress Keqing's wound. And then the ambulance arrived, transporting Keqing to the hospital. I was then forced to find a mop to mop the stain on the ground with her blood.
