Crystal's POV
External counselling office
"Hi Crystal, come in," my therapist said. I entered her room, and we went through my health journal, which was supposed to get me back to the desired weight as quickly as I could. My therapist usually starts off by talking about what I wrote in it.
-
"So you managed to run a round under 30 seconds in the basketball court today?" She asked. I nodded.

"Alright, that's not bad. I think we are not just making progress in gaining our 15 kg but also the emotional healing is. Good thing you and your teacher had a talk about his unrealistic warmups. And it benefitted everyone."
-
She usually talks about the health related things I mentioned, like what I ate that day or what kind of exercises I did. And then we talk about what I can do going forward. Since I exercise a lot to make sure I can help my company and for my own guides activities, we tend to focus more on my diet. I'd say I finally realised I need food and exercise to be healthy, but my parents' words made me think only the latter would work. That session, we were talking about getting back into "drinking protein shakes."
-
Counsellor: with getting back to a solid diet, I think let's transition back to your usual kind of liquids. I think protein shakes are healthy but not if you drink it three meals a day. It can't supplement real food.

Crystal: it's just another milkshake, so why get back into it? I'm doing fine with ginger and lemon water,

Counsellor: protein shakes have its benefits. It improves metabolism rates, meaning your food gets digested faster. That means you can eat a little more before girl guides now. We are almost ending our session for today, so why don't we go with one protein shake a week? We can cut it down and increase the intake to your needs.

Crystal: alright

Counsellor: see you next week! Keep journalling!
