Simon's POV
Ethan has been hiding from me the news of whether he got into China. And I got to go to China. Hence, while I bit my lips, I picked up my pace to the hall for the briefing; hoping Ethan was there.
-
Simon: OMG YOU GOT CHINA?

Ethan: yea, I've been keeping it a secret because I wanted to surprise you!

Simon: bro, you've really got people's skills, huh? proceeds to grab Ethan by the shoulder and ruffles his hair And I can see why, you got—

Ethan: Crystal, Chloe's twin sister. Ha, I caught you, you fell for it proceeds to grab Simon by the shoulder and ruffles his hair

Crystal giggles

Simon: I'm Simon, Ethan's trusted best friend. And I'll assume you want my number, huh?

Crystal: how do you know me?

Simon: I heard. I heard you're a hardcore social butterfly, so let's create the fake SECs

Ethan: the SECs haven't even took place?

Simon: our initials, duh. Actually, you have our numbers; create the chat for us. Create it for us.

Ethan: if you insist bro...

We three sat together, listening intently to Mdm Yeo's briefing on the trip. She gave us the details of our trip, which was right after we got back our scripts for the final exams. She even told us about the procedures should we have a WA on the day of the school visit. Yes, the Chinese students would visit us before we visited them and all of us would be excused from CCA that day. Even the fake Melody and "that one CCA student." (Crystal and Ethan respectively)
Jennifer's POV
The dance studio
Nicole and I settled down when I saw Christina enter the room from the dance studio room. Instantly, I did what Crystal always did—hug her, pat her back while at it and then hold her hand, as we talked about going to Japan. Christina claimed she wanted to explore the origins of a common sight at home — anime on TV. We sat down and started speculating about what the itinerary would be since our immersion was coming much nearer than the people in China.

OMG, we are going for the real deal?! No anime studios at all, just true blue attractions every Japanese tourist must know about. And we get to spend a day in their school and perform a performance there. I immediately volunteered to perform a gymnastics routine to Shine Your Light.
Anika's POV
Multipurpose room
While the hype for the Japan and China trips built up, I was having my interviews for Germany.
Interview
Mr Lee: let's talk about Germany. What is something that you can think about when I say this?

Anika: Nazi Germany! As a geography student I never get to study about it the nazi Germany so hearing about it from my history classmates is always an eye-opener. Sieg Heil! (Heil Hitler)*

Mr Lee: Germany is a country of the arts, but you're a triple science student. What attracts you to Germany then? Any deeper reasons?

Anika: I always wanted overseas trips like these, but I think Germany captured my eye. Japan was tough competition because they wanted to separate those going for anime and those that aren't. Let's say China wasn't my cup of tea, but the communication style of the Germans fits my style of communication best.

Mr Lee: I agree. They are formal but know when to let loose, huh?

Anika: that's true. If I were a tourist in Germany, where do you recommend me to go first if you were a local?

Mr Lee: that sounds like a really tough question~ I'd say go to Cologne Cathedral. It's a great place if you enjoy Germany culture. I'd love to hear from you more, but it looks like time is up. See you around.

Anika: see you!
*this was said to impress Mr Lee
