Mrs Teo's POV
"Ah, this brings back so many memories," I gushed while killing time after marking all my students' work. To destress, I decided to reminisce all of my videos on my computer. The girl guide event I hosted last year to end the school year was one not to forgot. All of a sudden, I started watching a video of Crystal's rendition of Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, Op. 28 by Camille Saint-Saëns.

"Mrs Teo, shut up!" My colleague Mrs Nur quietly scolded from the other side. "This is the 90th time I heard this version online."

"But you're in charge of Drama, no?" Ms Jaslyn asked sweetly. "You could just ask her to turn down the volume nicely. Besides, rumour has it she can play the piano too. Maybe get on your knees for Mrs Tan to relent and drop her into the musical!"

"Watch your words!" I warned. "Don't you dare drop my company leader into a performance!"

"No can do." Ms Jaslyn smirked and left.

I sighed. Doesn't mean Ms Jaslyn is the youngest in office means she can mess with students however she likes.
Mrs Ong's POV
Home
This conversation is purely in Chinese. All English terms are underlined
Mrs Ong: Good afternoon Mdm Yeo, may I ask what's the issue with my kid?

Mdm Yeo: Don't worry, it's nothing bad. The 3 Faith staff are in a little dilemma with the Girl Guides teacher, so we need your advice.

Mrs Ong: Fire away, I'll like to hear more about what's the dilemma

Mdm Yeo: her social studies teacher wants to put her into the musical for her instrumental talent, but it doesn't sit right with Mrs Teo. Your daughter will become the company leader of Girl Guides in April. She's worried of overworking her or making her do so bad she retains. The musical is in August, and she's an 8 subject taker.

Mrs Ong: that's true, but I see Crystal is trying her best to manage her time for both her girl guide activities and her studies. But I think it's ultimately on her if she decides on this opportunity. Maybe you talk to her and see what she wants, then you update me.

Mdm Yeo: alright. I'm so sorry for taking up your time, have a good day!

Mrs Ong: you too!
(The musical was never brought up for a month since 😁)
