Chloe's POV
"You guys wanted to meet me?" I asked, scrambling outside the library. John and Crystal nodded.
"Rather than change your marks to please your parents, how about learn the techniques to writing to please them with honest good grades?" John suggested. "I have done professional creative writing programmes before." She nodded hesitantly and we sat down.
John's POV
Library
"I think you should read non-fiction books," I advised Chloe. "You can describe the story but you can't talk about reflections. I think that's what a kid would say. Actually, our school library would have some nonfiction books, so if you think this is your strength, read autobiographies. They tell a lot about what they learnt there."
Eyebrows furrowed, I could tell Chloe was trying her best to listen. It wouldn't be easy for either sister, but I can tell both are always trying their best and that's what matters. Although the humorous part it leads to different results. I hope we can help one another get the O Level results we desire together.
Later that day
Neighbourhood mall
YZ's POV
We were at a Korean BBQ shop and cooking the food together. Crystal was playing mummy with Chloe and spent more time cooking for her than anyone else. We were in turn cooking for Crystal without her knowing. Soon, we were cooking for one another while talking about our tests.
"Guys, this is Chloe after the English test!" I declared. Everyone cheered as I placed a new piece of meat in her bowl.
"This is me when A Math," Crystal declared, eating the have of meat she cooked.
"This is me after Chinese," Ethan announced. "Who wants?"
"Give it to me!" John bellowed. "I'm cooked!" We all continued declaring how cooked we were while giggling away. But honestly, I wished moments like this would last a little longer. A busy year where we have to be apart sometimes was looming.
Ethan's busy with the table tennis National School Games right now, and he's moving on to the quarterfinals. John's going to be president for a programme called Spin Doctors, and it's focused on writing and speaking.
Crystal's preparing to be the company leader of Girl Guides. Nicole, Lucas and myself are going to take part in the centennial musical, with Lucas being the student conductor for band.
Anika is a busy member of the National Police Cadet Corps. That just leaves Chloe who has absolutely nothing special on for her. I hope she won't feel too left out, and when the stress gets too much, we can get together once more and hang out like this. Maybe not over declaring how cooked we are with meat as metaphors. Something else, but I want to stay close with them like this.
