"You do know that you basically waged war with DEM, right?" Ryo rhetorically asked while riding his motorcycle with Y/n on board. "Of course I do. Besides, I'm already a target of interest anyway since I'm involved with Johannes and I am the owner of that pendant," he justified his war against Ellen. "You should thank me too, since DEM's trump card has been temporarily handicapped," he flatly added, causing Ryo to put a press on the brakes.
"O-oi...What did you do?" Ryo was scared to even ask, knowing there was a risk that Y/n acted violently and may or may not have brutalized Ellen. Despite his vendetta, he knew that Y/n still has a mean streak of overdoing it. "Relax! I just disabled her powers and humiliated her using skill. I may be a thug, but it doesn't mean that I torture people," Y/n reassured that he didn't do anything heinous.
"I guess so. I shouldn't have placed some fears after all, especially to my own nephew," Ryo muttered while sighing. "It's understandable... I almost did kill a person and planned to kill someone if it weren't for your intervention," Y/n expressed that he understands why Ryo was afraid and it was justifiable. When Ryo was about to speed up again, Y/n immediately spoke out.
"Uncle... I want to talk to you about something."
"Hm? What is it?"
"It's about Origami... She..."
Meanwhile, Origami seemed to be lost in her thought. Alone under the cherry blossom tree where she swore a promise to Y/n, she seemed to remember killing and torturing the Arbatel personnel and even relished on their suffering. It took Y/n intervening for her to stop feasting on their pain and even then, she still aimed to kill someone in front of him.
'There's no reason for you to feel remorse... They deserved EVERY single bit of it,' the sinister voice inside Origami whispered, showing little to no regret on what they convinced Origami to do. "Shut up... Shut up... SHUT UP! What do you want with me?! Go away!" Origami shouted as she breathed heavily, and the voice seemed to manifest into a dark mist around her. 'Oh please don't kid yourself, Origami. You enjoyed torturing them too. All I did was persuade you to kill them, not torture them by making their pain as slow as possible. After all, I never gave out specifics on what to do,' the voice pointed out and Origami couldn't help but deny that.
"Who are you? What do you want with me anyway?" Origami demanded, growling in anger as she knew someone was messing with her head. 'Who am I is not of importance. However, I know you are very insistent so I'll give you a hint...
Our ambitions... Our desires... We are like kindred spirits.'
"Like hell we are..." Origami growled as the mist started to dissipate. Looking back, she saw Reine who had been following her for some time now. "I assume that there is some malicious entity roaming inside that pendant?" Reine hypothesized what was happening to Origami. "How long have you been following me?" Origami asked, suspicious of Reine and the latter answered, "Ever since you left behind the rest. Besides, I'm doing this for Y/n's favor anyway."
Relaxing a little bit, Origami wanted to avert her mind from whatever turmoil was going on inside her head by focusing her attention to Y/n's wellbeing. "Y/n... How is he?" she asked and Reine immediately stated what Y/n answered last night. "Physically, he's okay. Despite his reckless behavior, he seemed to suffer no injuries that Camael can't fix. Emotionally and mentally? That's another story," she answered, leaving Origami riddled with some guilt.
