2 minutes before the first Arbatel Cannon Shot...
Arubi Island-Spacequake Shelter
'Again... He's not here,' Tonomachi worried, noticing that Y/n wasn't in the Spacequake Shelter. As he wandered around, he met Ai, Mai, and Mii who immediately took notice of his worried face. "Ah, Tonomachi. What are you doing?" Mai asked as him as the latter then immediately asked, "Hey, have you seen Y/n around? He has been missing ever since that last Spacequake alarm," and his voice expressed worry and concern.
"No, we haven't," Mii answered and Ai then immediately pointed out that Origami is missing too. "She's probably looking for him too," Ai told Tonomachi. "I'm starting to get worried. I feel like the more that we don't find him, the more he is in danger," he expressed his worries and Mii tried to cheer him up by reassuring him, "Oh please relax. I doubt that gorilla would be stupid enough to put himself in the line of fire."
As soon as she said that, rumbling could be felt as the four then became silent. "Yeah, I think I should go now," Tonomachi blankly spoke before he ran out and exited the shelter. "Hey! You can't just-" Mai tried to call out to him but he was already too far away. Just his luck, there was no one guarding the exit and immediately got out.
"Should we go after him?" Mai asked in worry, knowing that Tonomachi might get reckless. "We're just going to be deadweights, it's best that we don't get ourselves involved," Ai dejectedly spoke and Mii ended it with, "That's so lame..."
All alone, Tonomachi ventured to find his friend in trouble.
Present Time
Arubi Island-Ruined Forest
"Pick it up, eh? You seem to be quite overconfident despite your timer ticking down," Ellen jeered at the confidence Y/n was putting up while she picked up her weapons. "Because you don't know what I truly am capable of. You think of me like I'm some sort of constant variable when I'm not," he explained as his posture was relaxed. Taking advantage of this, a Bandersnatch tried to assassinate him, only for its head to be crushed.
"You should really know that I keep improving. That being said...
Come at me, all of you."
Finally having enough of this, Ellen then commanded the Bandersnatch units to swarm Y/n, and hundreds of them started to surround him. Impaling his staff to the ground, it then extended up above. As soon as he got enough altitude using the staff, he then hopped off and summoned two fans. Opening them, he then waved them around as gentle as a river's flow before spreading his arms, causing a huge gust of wind to bring them down to the ground; with some of them breaking on collision with one another.
Before Y/n could follow it up, Ellen ambushed him, forcing him to block as he was forced fight on the ground. Spikes then appeared on the ends of the fans, and he immediately moved around Ellen as if he was dancing, and this caused Ellen to be off put. Every move was as smooth as silk, and evasion was more emphasized rather than aggression. However, it should not be mistaken that he never dared to attack, as the winds and the spikes of the fans were all subtly attempting to strike her.
Ellen had a hard time reading them, especially when she has lack of information of this type of fighting. Despite the lack of information, she knows where Y/n was aiming for:
