CHAPTER 65

"THEN LET'S NOT GET MARRIED. EVERYTHING SOLVES THEN!"

"Why is sister speaking like that," asked Clausius.

I had no idea what should I say.

Then brother Ishak came out of the office, "You all were here," he said in a shaky voice.

"What happened? Why is sister so furious?" asked Logan.

"It's a small argument, don't worry. Let's go to the garden. I've brought gifts for you all." He told some maids to take us to the garden.

I and Alex stood behind. "Brother what happened? It's not usual for sister to shout like this." I said.

"I can't even remember when was the last time she screamed at anyone,"  added Alex.

"I'll tell you both everything. But for now please look after the youngers," brother replied. Then he turned to the head maid, "Make sure not a single word get out of the palace." Then he turned to us, "As soon as Athena returns send her to us, okay?"

"Yes."

I and Alex walked to the garden to join others.

"What do you think, what's all this about?"

"I have no idea Alex. Sister's marriage is right around the corner and now she is being so furious all of a sudden. What can be this about?"

I along with all others waited in the garden as brother Ishak told but he didn't return.

"Lady Davinia, Lord Alex you both returned after travelling a long distance, why don't you eat something and then rest for a while?" said Mary.

"Yes, it's almost lunch time too. You all should eat something," said Alex's maid.

"I'm not hungry right now," said Clausius. Everyone agreed with him.

At that time we saw the head maid return with Lady Clara, Clausius's mother. She looked at us worriedly, "Why aren't you all hungry? Come eat something with me."

"Mother this isn't time to eat," angrily Clausius replied.

"Hmm, by not eating do you all believe Lady Katrina will be happy? Don't you all know how much punctual she is about time? If she hears about it I'm sure she'll be even more furious than now." Then she patted me on the shoulder and added, "you both also should freshen up and then eat a little. You both have to take care of others, right?"

I and Alex nodded to her but couldn't move an inch. After about 10 minutes Alex said, "Let's freshen up Davi and again meet here after 15 minutes. I'm sure others will return by the time."

I took a quick shower and changed my clothes and returned to the garden. Alex was already waiting for me. I saw maids put some fruits infront of him. But everything was untouched. I walked to him.

The head maid was standing beside him."What's happening now?" I asked her.

"I don't know the details but I believe everyone is discussing something very important now......"

"What are you both doing here?" I heard brother Neel. I turned around.

"You've come back??? Did sister Athena returned?" I  asked restlessly.

"Sister Athena!!!" Alex screamed. Sister Athena was just entering the Palace. Meitry was with her. I and Alex ran too her.

"Why are you both running to her leaving me behind?" we heard brother Neel but ignored him.

"Sister Athena come with us," I said at once.

"Calm down, Meitry is still sleeping. It was a way too long journey. She must be very tired." We saw Sir Dalton holding her in his arms. "Please take her to her room," sister told him.

We waited for Sir Dalton to go. As soon as Sir Dalton left, "Sister let's go." Alex tightly grabbed her wrist and ran.

"What are you both even doing?" annoyed brother Neel asked.

"Where's Matthew?" I asked.

"He went to take a shower."

I told a nearby staff, "Tell Matthew to come to sister Katrina's office as soon as he can," then looked at brother, "You come with me," and ran to sister's office.
