Keisuke carefully helped Kaiya into the wheelchair, his hands steady as he ensured she was comfortable. Despite her progress, it was still advised that she avoid too much movement on her own. While short walks were permitted with a nurse's assistance, she knew it was better not to push herself too hard.
- "This is so embarrassing," Kaiya murmured, her cheeks flushing slightly as she settled into the chair.
As they approached the exit, Keisuke gently pushed the wheelchair through the hospital's sliding doors. The fresh air hit her face, and she blinked in surprise at the sight before her. Standing in the hospital yard were all the members of the First Division and the leaders of the Tokyo Manji gang. Kaiya had known some of the guys wanted to visit, but she never imagined they would all be there.
As soon as they saw her, a cheer erupted from the group. The sound of their voices filled the air, a chorus of relief and joy that brought a bright smile to Kaiya's face. Tears of happiness welled up in her eyes as she took in the sight of her friends—her family—gathered together for her.
With Keisuke's support, Kaiya slowly rose from the wheelchair. Her legs trembled slightly, but she was determined to walk the few steps that separated her from the group. As she approached, Ryusei was the first to reach her, wrapping her in a tight hug. His embrace was warm, almost desperate, as if he had feared he might never see her again.
- "You're really here," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
Chifuyu, standing close by, had tears brimming in his eyes, barely holding them back. When Ryusei finally released her, she reached out and took Chifuyu's hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. The relief on his face was palpable as he clung to her hand, his expression one of pure joy.
As Ryusei stepped back, Draken, Mikey, and the other division captains approached. Draken placed a strong, reassuring hand on her shoulder, his protective nature evident in the soft smile he gave her.
- "You're tougher than I thought. Glad to see you on your feet," he said, his deep voice filled with warmth.
Mitsuya was next, pulling her into a gentle hug before pressing a kiss to her forehead.
- "You've been through a lot, but you're still as strong as ever," he murmured, his voice laced with admiration.
Pah-chin, a bit awkward but clearly relieved, gave her a quick, strong hug.
- "Glad you're okay, Kaiya," he said gruffly, his sincerity shining through his usual rough exterior.
Nahoya, always grinning, clapped her on the back.
- "Good to see you didn't let that wheelchair slow you down!" he joked, his smile as wide as ever. His twin, Souya, more reserved, offered her a nod and a quiet, "We missed you," his voice carrying the weight of his concern.
Finally, Mikey, who had been watching from a slight distance, stepped forward. His expression was softer than usual, his eyes reflecting the depth of his emotions. He offered her a small, gentle smile.
- "It's good to see you up, Kaiya," he said simply, but the sincerity in his tone spoke volumes.
Surrounded by her friends, Kaiya felt a deep sense of belonging and love. Each of them, in their own way, had shown her just how much she meant to them. Despite the hardships she had faced, this moment made everything worthwhile. They were her family, and together, they could face anything.
After spending some time chatting with her, the members of the First Division and the leaders of the Tokyo Manji gang offered Kaiya words of encouragement and support. Several of them expressed their immense relief and happiness at seeing her alive and well. It was during these moments that Kaiya began to grasp the true fragility of her condition after the attack. She had known that her life was in danger, but it wasn't until now, surrounded by her friends who had feared for her life, that she fully realized just how close she had come to death.
