- "Come on, Kojiro. You know you can't stay with Yotsuya," Ryusei urged, his voice firm but laced with concern. His eyes locked onto Kojiro's, trying to convey the seriousness of the situation. "We're heading to my place now. And trust me, if you don't cooperate, I won't hesitate to knock you out and drag you there myself," he continued, his tone hardening, leaving no room for argument.

Kaiya, who had been anxiously glancing at Kojiro's wounds, stepped forward.

- "Let's hurry. Your wounds need immediate attention," she said, her voice trembling slightly. There was a mixture of fear and determination in her tone—fear for what had happened to Keisuke, and a fierce resolve to help the others. She knew time was running out.

Suddenly, the distant wail of police sirens filled the air.

- "It's the popo!" Kojiro shouted, his eyes widening in alarm. Instinctively, they all sprang into action, their feet pounding the pavement as they raced toward Ryusei's place, hearts pounding in sync with their hurried footsteps.

As they ran, Chifuyu, trying to make sense of the chaotic events, glanced over at Ryusei.

- "So what was that Yotsuya hunt all about anyway?" he asked, his voice slightly breathless from the pace. "I don't understand a lick about it..."

Ryusei, his expression grim, replied without breaking his stride.

- "I don't know why he's targeting Yotsuya Kaidan, but the mastermind behind it is most likely Kensho Hishi," he revealed, the name hanging heavily in the air. "Kojiro's real older brother."

- "What?" Chifuyu exclaimed, confusion evident in his voice and on his face. He struggled to process this new piece of information.

Hearing the name Kensho Hishi, a shiver ran down Kaiya's spine. Memories flooded back—Kensho, the man who had once seemed so friendly towards Kazutora and Keisuke. But now, his name was linked to something dark, something dangerous. She couldn't shake the unease that settled in her chest.

Ryusei noticed her reaction but didn't stop.

- "Let's leave it at that for now," he said, his tone softer, but still commanding. "I'll explain everything I know when we get to my place. Since you're now tangled up with Yotsuya Kaidan, this concerns you too, Chifuyu."

The group gathered in Ryusei's bedroom, the tension in the air thick and palpable. The room was small, with a bunk bed positioned above a desk, a modest rug laid out on the floor, and a low table. The window was slightly ajar, letting in the faint sounds of the city outside, but the room felt insular, like a world unto itself.

Kaiya sat on the bunk bed, her legs dangling over the edge as she stared into space, lost in her thoughts. The events of the day weighed heavily on her mind, and she couldn't help but think of her own twin brother. The bond they shared was unbreakable—she couldn't fathom a situation where they would ever turn against each other like Kojiro's brother had. The thought made her heart ache.

Kojiro stood by the window, his gaze fixed on the street below. His face was a mask of indifference, but the tension in his posture betrayed the turmoil brewing inside him. Chifuyu sat cross-legged on the rug, his eyes on Ryusei, who was pacing slightly as he spoke, his voice calm but edged with the gravity of the situation.

- "So, the reason why that red-scar guy is hunting Yotsuya is because Kojiro's brother put him up to it?" Chifuyu asked, trying to piece together the puzzle. "What kind of brother is he? What reason could he possibly have to destroy his younger brother along with his entire gang?"

As Chifuyu tried to make sense of the situation, Kaiya's thoughts drifted back to her own brother. She couldn't imagine anything in this world that would make her want to hurt him. He was the person she loved most—perhaps even more than she loved herself. The idea of betrayal between brothers was foreign to her, almost incomprehensible.
