After the intense battle, all the members of Toman managed to leave the conflict area just before the police arrived. The aftermath was a scene of arrests—Mocchi, Madarame, Muto, the Haitani brothers, and Tenshi were all taken into custody. Kisaki, however, met his end differently. In a final confrontation with Takemichi, he revealed his twisted plan: to manipulate Mikey, take control of Tokyo, and marry Hinata Tachibana. His ambitions came to an abrupt end when he was hit by a truck, leaving his manipulative schemes unfinished. Meanwhile, Draken fought and defeated Hanma, bringing some closure to that battle as well.

That night, Kaiya returned to her hotel room in a state of complete exhaustion. She barely had the energy to process everything that had occurred. The weight of it all—betrayals, violence, death—hung heavy in the air. Too tired even to cry, she collapsed onto her bed and fell into a deep sleep, one that lasted for nearly 16 hours. When she finally woke, she felt completely numb, disconnected from her own emotions. The numbness wasn't just physical fatigue but emotional paralysis, and for days she couldn't bring herself to leave the room. The battle had taken more from her than just physical energy—it had shaken her to the core.

As she lay there in her silent, darkened room, her mind replayed the events of the fight, over and over again. The betrayal of Tenshi gnawed at her like a deep, festering wound. She had trusted him, shared moments of vulnerability with him, and yet he had turned out to be one of them. But more than the pain of his betrayal, what haunted Kaiya the most was the darkness she had felt within herself during the battle. It wasn't just that she had fought Tenshi—it was how she had defeated him. She had manipulated him, exploited his weakness, a vulnerability he had trusted her with. It terrified her to realize how coldly calculated she had been in those moments, how easily she had turned his trust into a weapon against him.

She wanted to cry, to scream out the emotions she could feel building inside her, but no tears came. Instead, a heavy numbness consumed her, making her feel like she was trapped inside her own mind. For days, Kaiya isolated herself, avoiding the world. She ignored Chifuyu's calls, though he kept reaching out to her, trying to bring her back into the fold of her friends. He sent her messages, updating her on what had happened. Kakuchou had survived, he told her, but that news only added to her pile of unanswered questions.

What bothered her most was the mystery behind Tenshi's true involvement. How had he become linked to Tenjiku? His true identity had been hidden from most, and no one knew the full extent of his role in the events. She realized that the only way to get answers was to investigate what had really happened behind the scenes. She needed to talk to those who might know more—Inui, who seemed to share a history with Tenshi, and Kakuchou, who might hold the key to understanding what had truly transpired.

Kaiya couldn't bring herself to attend Emma's funeral. The guilt weighed heavily on her, especially knowing Mikey had called her once. She hadn't answered, and when she didn't, he didn't try calling again. Her heart ached, knowing she couldn't be there to support him when he needed it most. The only thing she could do was send him a message: "Please, forgive me, Mikey. I can't be there... I need time to rest." It was a cold, impersonal response, but it was all she could muster in her state of emotional and physical exhaustion.

Dragging herself out of bed after days of feeling numb, she finally contacted Takemichi, assuming he had already visited Kakuchou. She was right; he had plans to see him and welcomed her suggestion to join him. Even though she felt drained, there was a sense of duty pulling her to meet Kakuchou and learn more about Tenshi's role in the chaos.

When they arrived at the hospital, Kaiya gave Takemichi space to have a private conversation with Kakuchou first. The room was quiet when she heard bits of their conversation through the door.
