For the moment, things seemed to be looking up for Toman. Kisaki was officially out of the gang, and there was hope that the future might finally change for the better. Kaiya felt a sense of cautious optimism but didn't push Takemichi to travel back to the future just to satisfy her curiosity. A few months passed peacefully, and nothing out of the ordinary occurred. It was a quiet period for Toman, but Kaiya knew that peace in their world never lasted long.

One day, Kaiya received a request from Mamoru to meet with him and Suto Taro, the leader of the Ueno Brotherhood, a gang known for their tight-knit loyalty. When Kaiya arrived at the meeting, she was surprised by Suto's appearance. He looked unusually feminine for a gang leader. His long lashes and equally long brown hair, accented with blonde highlights, gave him a striking look. His cinnamon-colored eyes were sharp, and at about 1.70 meters tall, he had a solid, muscular build that spoke of his strength despite his more delicate features.

Mamoru, who had recently allied with Suto after helping him and his gang recover from a fight, had grown close to him. During their talks, Mamoru had opened up about Kaiya and how she led Toman's Medical Division. He told Suto that she valued loyalty above everything else, which caught Suto's attention. Loyalty was the core value of the Ueno Brotherhood, and their motto was "Loyalty Above All." That shared belief sparked Suto's interest in Kaiya, and he had wanted to meet her in person to propose an idea—merging his gang with Toman, under her command.

Kaiya listened carefully to Suto's proposal. He spoke passionately about their shared ideals and the strength that could come from uniting the two groups. His vision aligned with her values, and while she was intrigued, she knew such a decision couldn't be made lightly. Suto's gang was composed of fifteen members, and though small, they were fiercely loyal and skilled. After their conversation, Kaiya felt inclined to accept Suto's offer, but she needed to consult with Mikey first.

Later, she approached Mikey, explaining Suto's request and the potential benefits of merging the Ueno Brotherhood into Toman.

- "I trust your judgment, Ka-chin," Mikey smiled at her with his usual calm confidence. "If you think those guys deserves to be in your division, then so be it."

With Mikey's approval, the merger went through. The fifteen members of the Ueno Brotherhood officially joined Toman, now flying under the Toman banner and operating under Kaiya's leadership. Kaiya welcomed them into her division, determined to guide them with the same loyalty and dedication that had made her such a respected figure in Toman. The merger strengthened Toman's Medical Division, with Suto and his men now working alongside her, adding both numbers and strength to the team.

For the first time in a while, Kaiya felt like things were moving in a positive direction. The future, though uncertain, now held new possibilities.

The turning point in Kaiya and Tenshi's growing connection happened on a quiet afternoon when Kaiya returned to the rooftop of her hotel. She wasn't entirely sure why she went back—maybe it was the hope of seeing Tenshi again, or maybe it was the comfort and familiarity rooftops brought her. After all, she used to meet Ryusei, Keisuke, and Chifuyu on the rooftop of their school, and it had always felt like a safe space away from the chaos of their world. To her surprise, Tenshi was there, leaning casually against the wall of the stairwell, a manga in hand. His calm presence put her at ease, and when she waved at him, he glanced up with a quick smile before returning to his book.

Kaiya took a seat on an old metal box nearby, resting her forearms on the railing, her head lazily falling onto her arms. The sun was warm on her skin, and for a moment, the world felt distant. She allowed herself to breathe, closing her eyes, feeling the warmth soak into her. Tenshi, meanwhile, kept sneaking glances at her, visibly torn between continuing his manga and wanting to engage with her. Eventually, the pull of her presence became too distracting for him.
