### **Setting: Starks' Mansion, Living Room**

**It’s a sunny afternoon at the Starks' mansion. The kids are in the living room watching TV. MJ is in the kitchen making lunch. The TV is playing a cartoon that Charlie, Charoltte, Areil, and Eric are all watching, giggling and talking amongst themselves.**

### **Chapter 1: The Slip-Up**

**Charoltte, feeling playful, decides to joke around with her brother Charlie. In the middle of their conversation, she slips and uses the banned words.**

- **Charoltte (loudly, joking with Charlie):** “This show is so *heckin’* boring! I don’t know why they put this *dumb* stuff on TV!”

**Charlie’s eyes widen, and he looks over at Areil and Eric, who both look surprised. They know those words are banned in their house.**

- **Charlie (whispering):** “Charoltte, you can’t say that! You know Mom and Dad don’t like those words!”

- **Areil (running toward the kitchen):** “I’m telling Mommy! Charoltte said the H and D words!”

**Charoltte’s face goes pale. She knows she’ll be in big trouble if MJ hears about this. Thinking quickly, she jumps up and runs towards the door.**

### **Chapter 2: The Escape**

**Charoltte grabs her backpack and heads for the backyard. She knows if she can just get out of the house, she’ll have some time before she has to face the music.**

- **Charoltte (thinking to herself):** “I just need to get out for a while. Maybe if I stay away until late, they won’t be as mad.”

**With a quick look around to make sure no one is watching, Charoltte climbs over the backyard fence. She uses her web-slinging abilities, shooting a web to a nearby tree and swinging away.**

- **Charoltte (calling over her shoulder to Charlie):** “Cover for me, will you? I’ll be back later!”

**Charlie watches as Charoltte disappears over the fence. He knows she’s in big trouble now.**

### **Chapter 3: Tattling Time**

**Areil and Eric have already made it to the kitchen, where MJ is cooking. They’re both talking at once, trying to tell her what Charoltte said.**

- **Areil (excitedly):** “Mommy, Charoltte said bad words! The H word and the D word!”

- **Eric (nodding vigorously):** “Yeah! She said the bad words we’re not supposed to say!”

**MJ turns around, looking concerned. She wipes her hands on a towel and heads towards the living room.**

- **MJ (calling out):** “Charoltte! You come here right now, young lady!”

**But as she enters the living room, she only sees Charlie sitting on the couch, looking nervous. There’s no sign of Charoltte.**

- **MJ (to Charlie):** “Where’s your sister?”

- **Charlie (shrugging):** “She… uh… she went outside for a bit.”

### **Chapter 4: The Decision**

**Later that day, Peter comes home from work. MJ fills him in on what happened with Charoltte.**

- **MJ (sighing):** “She used the banned words and then ran off before I could talk to her. I think we need to teach her a lesson about using respectful language.”

- **Peter (nodding):** “You’re right. I’ll talk to her when she gets back. If she’s out swinging around, she’ll probably come back after dark. I’ll be waiting.”

### **Chapter 5: The Return**

**It’s close to midnight when Charoltte finally sneaks back home. She’s hoping everyone will be asleep and she can avoid the trouble she knows she’s in. But as soon as she climbs back over the fence and sneaks into the backyard, she sees the light in the living room on.**

**She quietly opens the back door, hoping to make it to her room without getting caught. But as she tiptoes inside, Peter is waiting in the living room.**

- **Peter (sternly):** “Charoltte, come here.”

**Charoltte freezes, knowing there’s no escape this time. She slowly walks over to Peter.**

### **Chapter 6: The Confrontation**

**Peter stands up, looking down at Charoltte. He’s not shouting, but his voice is firm.**

- **Peter:** “Do you know why you’re in trouble?”

- **Charoltte (nodding slowly):** “Because I said bad words… and I ran away.”

- **MJ (joining Peter, arms crossed):** “We don’t use that kind of language in this house, Charoltte. You know that. And running away doesn’t make things better, it only makes it worse.”

- **Charoltte (mumbling under her breath):** “It’s just words… they’re not that bad…”

### **Chapter 7: The Punishment**

**Peter takes Charoltte by the arm and leads her to a chair. He sits down and looks at her seriously.**

- **Peter:** “You need to understand that words have power. When we say mean or disrespectful things, it hurts people. You need to think before you speak.”

**He pulls her over his knee and gives her a firm spanking. Charoltte kicks and struggles, but Peter holds her steady. After several smacks, he lets her go.**

- **Charoltte (through tears, glaring at Peter and MJ):** “This is *heck*! You guys are so *dumb*! I hate this stupid house!”

### **Chapter 8: More Trouble**

**Peter’s face tightens. He stands up and points to the stairs.**

- **Peter (firmly):** “That’s enough, Charoltte. Go to your room. You’re grounded for the rest of the week. No TV, no playing outside, and no desserts.”

- **MJ (softly):** “And we’ll talk more about your behavior in the morning. We love you, Charoltte, but you need to learn to follow the rules.”

**Charoltte storms up the stairs, slamming her bedroom door behind her. Peter and MJ exchange a worried look, knowing they’ll have to keep a closer eye on her.**

**As the house falls silent, they hope Charoltte will think about what she’s done and start making better choices.**
