Chapter 1: The Plan
At Superhero School, Charlotte Stark had no idea that Eziah Woods, her boyfriend, had enlisted the help of the other Super Hero Rise (SHR) kids to plan a romantic day. Areilella, Polly, Emily, Ava, Charlie, Sammie, LT, and David were all in on the surprise. They whispered and giggled in the halls, making sure Charlotte wouldn't catch on.
Charlie nudged Eziah. "You sure about this, bro? She's gonna freak out."
Eziah nodded, determination in his eyes. "Yeah, she means everything to me. It's time to make it official."
Chapter 2: The Setup
During the last class, the SHR kids snuck out to decorate the outdoor courtyard with balloons and lights. Polly helped set up a picnic, and Ava arranged flowers on the table.
Areilella grinned. "This is going to be the cutest thing ever."
Emily added, "Charlotte's going to love it."
Chapter 3: The Big Moment
After class, Eziah led Charlotte to the courtyard, her eyes wide with surprise as she saw the setup. "What is all this?"
Eziah, a little nervous, got down on one knee, holding out a ring that matched his. "Charlotte Stark, will you be my girlfriend forever?"
Charlotte gasped, her heart racing. She looked around at the smiling faces of her friends and then back at Eziah. "Yes! Yes, I will!"
Chapter 4: The Kiss
As soon as Charlotte said yes, Eziah stood up, and they shared a kiss. The other SHR kids cheered.
Charlie smirked. "Aww, look at them being all romantic."
Sammie laughed. "Get a room!"
But just as they were basking in the moment, they didn't notice the adults coming. When they got caught kissing by their parents, Charlotte froze.
Chapter 5: Defiance
Charlotte quickly broke away from Eziah but decided to make a bold move. She turned to the group, knowing she was already in trouble, and started singing "My Lover" by Bad Sass Girl, Ima Bad Kid's girlfriend.
Charlotte sang, "You're my lover, my ride or die,
Together we'll reach the sky,
No one can tear us apart,
You've always had my heart."
She winked at Eziah as she sang, dancing around him, ignoring the stern looks from the adults.
Eziah smiled nervously, realizing how much trouble they were in. "Uh, Charlotte... I don't think this is helping."
Chapter 6: The Rebel Move
But Charlotte wasn't done. Grabbing Eziah by the collar, she pulled him in for another kiss, full of defiance. The parents gasped in shock.
MJ, Charlotte's mom, called out, "Charlotte! That is enough!"
Peter, her dad, looked like he was about to faint. "You've got to be kidding me."
Eziah's dad, T'Challa, crossed his arms, frowning. "Eziah Woods, what are you doing?"
But Charlotte wasn't finished with her rebellious moment. She stepped back from Eziah, threw her hands up in the air, and shouted, "I'm gonna fly like a mother sucker!"
Chapter 7: The Escape
Before anyone could react, Charlotte turned and ran off, laughing as she sprinted across the courtyard. She knew she was in serious trouble, but in that moment, she didn't care.
Peter shouted after her, "Charlotte, get back here right now!"
MJ sighed, looking at Peter. "You handle this."
Charlie, watching all this unfold, muttered under his breath, "What the shimpy heck did I just witness?"
Polly grinned. "Classic Charlotte."
Chapter 8: The Aftermath
Later, after being caught and brought home, Charlotte sat in her room, knowing the consequences were coming. But she couldn't help but smile, remembering the look on Eziah's face when she kissed him.
Peter knocked on the door, his voice stern. "Charlotte, we need to talk."
Charlotte sighed. "Yeah, yeah, I know."
