Chapter 1: The McCool Twins’ New Song

Charlotte and Charlie Stark had a creative streak, and today, they were on a mission to make their newest song for their shared Pandora page, where they performed under the name "The McCool Twins." Sitting in their room, Charlotte grabbed her tablet while Charlie strummed his guitar, both of them brainstorming lyrics for their next hit.

“I’ve got it,” Charlotte said excitedly. “Let’s call this one ‘Momma and Daddy on Our Griddle.’”

Charlie grinned. “Oh yeah! Let’s roast ‘em!”

They huddled together, coming up with some cheeky lyrics, each line designed to poke fun at their parents, MJ and Peter. Charlie strummed a few playful chords while Charlotte began singing:

Charlotte’s Lyrics:

“Momma’s always telling me ‘Clean up your room!’
And Daddy says ‘Finish your homework soon!’
But we’re McCool twins, we’re way too slick,
Momma and Daddy can’t keep up—so quick!”

Charlie chimed in with his own part, adding a silly rap-like verse:

Charlie’s Lyrics:

“Daddy swings around like Spidey, that’s true,
But when he’s home, he’s like ‘Go do your chores, you two!’
We’re rockin’ this house, yeah, top of the charts,
Momma’s hair’s a mess, and Dad’s spidey sense starts!”

Both of them burst out laughing, feeling like they had created the funniest, coolest song ever. They played it over and over, singing and recording it with the tablet.

Chapter 2: Caught in the Act

Just as they were about to add the finishing touches, their little brother Eric and little sister Ariel walked by. The twins’ door was slightly ajar, and curiosity got the best of them.

“Hey, what are they doing in there?” Eric whispered, peeking through the crack in the door.

Ariel stood on her toes to get a better look. “They’re making fun of Mom and Dad!”

The two younger siblings exchanged a look of excitement. “Let’s go tell Mom and Dad!” Ariel said, grabbing Eric’s hand and running down the hall.

Within minutes, MJ and Peter Stark were standing at the door, frowning as they heard the lyrics of the song. Charlotte and Charlie were so caught up in their performance that they didn’t even notice their parents’ arrival.

Peter finally pushed the door open and said in his stern dad voice, “Charlotte Bella Marie Stark! Charlie James Stark! What do you two think you’re doing?”

Charlotte and Charlie froze mid-verse, their eyes wide as they turned to face their parents. “Uh… we were just… making music?” Charlotte offered weakly.

MJ crossed her arms, glaring at them. “Making fun of your parents? Really?”

Peter shook his head. “You both know better than this. You’re getting spanked.”

Chapter 3: The Spanking

Peter sat down on the edge of the bed and motioned for both twins to come over. They reluctantly walked over, knowing they were in big trouble. Peter took them one at a time, pulling down their pants and underwear and giving each of them a firm spanking.

Charlotte winced, trying to hold back her tears, while Charlie grimaced, rubbing his sore bottom after it was over.

“Go to your rooms, both of you,” Peter said sternly. “You’re grounded for two weeks—no Pandora page, no music, and no hanging out with friends. Do I make myself clear?”

Both twins nodded, feeling the sting of both their punishment and their grounded status. “Yes, Dad,” they mumbled in unison.

Chapter 4: Charlie's Humorous Escape

As soon as they were back in their room, sitting on the bed, Charlie couldn’t help but try to lighten the mood. He stood up dramatically, pretending to wobble as if in pain, then broke into a silly song:

Charlie’s Song:

“My butt is on fire!
It’s burnin’ like the sun, oh higher and higher!
Daddy’s hand, it was strong and true,
Now I can’t sit—oh, what will I do?”

Charlotte, still sniffling, couldn’t help but burst into laughter, clutching her stomach as Charlie danced around the room, over-exaggerating his pain.

“You’re such a dork!” Charlotte giggled, but she was grateful for her brother’s antics to make her feel better.

Despite the moment of laughter, they both knew that their days of making fun songs about their parents were over for now. Grounded and sore, they spent the rest of the day in their room, knowing they had to think of a different way to stay out of trouble next time.
