Chapter 1: Family Time in the Living Room

(Charlie, Areil, and Eric are playing a board game with MJ and Peter while Charlotte watches from the side, looking disinterested.)

MJ: “Eric, roll the dice! Let’s see if you can beat your sister!”

Charlie: “Not a chance, Eric!”

Charlotte (to herself): “This is so boring. I don’t even know why I’m sitting here.”

---

Chapter 2: Peter’s Warning

(Charlotte starts mumbling complaints under her breath while Peter notices her attitude.)

Peter: “Charlotte, if you’re not going to join us nicely, I think it’s time for you to sit in timeout for a bit.”

Charlotte (smirking): “Why should I? I didn’t even do anything!”

Peter: “Charlotte, last warning. Go sit in timeout, or I’ll have to discipline you.”

---

Chapter 3: Charlotte Pushes Back

(Charlotte crosses her arms and glares at Peter, testing his patience.)

Charlotte: “You’re always telling me what to do. Maybe you should go sit in timeout!”

MJ: “Charlotte, that’s enough. Listen to your dad.”

Charlotte: “No! He’s not the boss of me!”

---

Chapter 4: Peter Takes Action

(Peter sighs, visibly disappointed, before standing up. Charlotte’s defiance reaches its peak.)

Peter: “Charlotte, I warned you.”
(He firmly but carefully slaps her across the face to get her attention, shocking her into silence. She stares at him with wide eyes as he kneels to her level.)

Peter: “You are out of line, young lady. Let’s go.”

---

Chapter 5: Time Out

(Peter picks Charlotte up, ignoring her protests, and carries her to the timeout chair in the corner. He also takes her phone from her pocket.)

Charlotte (squirming): “You can’t just take my phone! That’s mine!”

Peter: “Not anymore. You’ll get it back when you’ve earned it. Now sit here and think about how you spoke to me.”

---

Chapter 6: Reflecting and Consequences

(After her timeout, Charlotte sulks in her room, grounded without her phone or privileges.)

Peter (standing in the doorway): “Charlotte, I love you, but that kind of behavior is not okay. You need to show respect to your mom and me.”

Charlotte (muttering): “I’m sorry…”

Peter: “Thank you. But you’re grounded for the rest of the day. Let’s make better choices tomorrow, alright?”
(He leaves as Charlotte sighs and flops onto her bed, reflecting on her actions.)
