Setting: Rhodes House – Living Room
---
Chapter 1: Trouble in the Playroom
It’s a regular day at the Rhodes house, where 4-year-old quadruplets Eddie, Winston, Nicola, and Matthew are playing with their 2-year-old siblings Parker, Karma, and Tristan in the playroom. Nicola, however, starts picking on his little sister, Karma, pushing her and calling her names.
Nicola (mockingly): "You’re such a baby, Karma! You can’t even play right!"
Karma begins to tear up as Nicola continues to bully her. Eddie, Winston, and Matthew watch quietly, unsure of what to do.
Karma (sniffling): "Stop it, Nicola!"
Amy (Amanda) Rhodes, their mom, hears the commotion and walks into the playroom. She quickly understands what’s happening.
Amy (firmly): "Nicola! What are you doing to your sister?"
Nicola (defensive): "I was just playing!"
Amy (sternly): "That’s not playing, that’s bullying. You don’t treat your sister like that."
Nicola crosses his arms and frowns, but he knows he’s in trouble.
Amy (calm but serious): "When your dad gets home, we’re going to have a talk about this. You’re getting grounded, and he’ll decide if you get a spanking too."
---
Chapter 2: Waiting for Dad
As the day goes on, Nicola can’t shake the feeling of dread, knowing his dad, James Rhodes (War Machine), will be home soon. The other quadruplets try to cheer him up, but Nicola remains sulking in the corner of the playroom, still upset that he’s in trouble.
Eddie (quietly): "You really shouldn’t have picked on Karma."
Nicola (grumbling): "I didn’t mean to…"
Winston (nodding): "Mom’s really mad. You better apologize when Dad gets home."
Nicola stays quiet, feeling guilty but too stubborn to admit it yet.

Chapter 3: Dad Comes Home
Later that evening, James Rhodes returns home from the Avengers meeting. Amy greets him at the door, filling him in on Nicola’s behavior.
Amy (quietly): "Nicola was bullying Karma today. I already told him he’s grounded, but I think he needs to be disciplined by you."
James (sighing): "Alright, I’ll talk to him."
James heads to the playroom, where Nicola is sitting on the floor, avoiding eye contact.
James (calm but stern): "Nicola, come here. We need to talk."
Nicola reluctantly stands up and walks over to his dad, already knowing what’s coming.
James (seriously): "What you did today was not okay. Bullying your little sister, or anyone, is never acceptable. You’re grounded, and you’ll be staying in your room for the rest of the day."
Nicola (muttering): "I’m sorry, Dad…"
James (nodding): "I’m glad you’re sorry, but actions have consequences. You’re also getting a spanking to make sure you understand that bullying is never the answer."
---
Chapter 4: The Consequences
James takes Nicola aside and gives him a firm but quick spanking. Nicola sniffles, knowing he deserved it, but feels the weight of his actions more clearly now.
James (gently): "Do you understand why you’re being punished?"
Nicola (nodding through tears): "Yes, Dad… I won’t do it again."
James (hugging him): "Good. I know you’re a good kid, but you have to think before you act."
---
Chapter 5: Apologies and Grounding
After the spanking, Nicola walks up to Karma, who is still playing quietly with her toys, and sits next to her.
Nicola (sincerely): "I’m sorry for being mean, Karma. I won’t do it again."
Karma (smiling softly): "It’s okay, Nicky."
Nicola gives her a small hug, feeling much better now that he’s made things right with his sister. But his punishment isn’t over yet.
Amy (calling from the other room): "Nicola, up to your room. You’re still grounded."
Nicola heads to his room, where he’ll spend the rest of the evening reflecting on his behavior. Though he’s grounded, he knows he’s learned an important lesson.
