"You think you can disrespect me and get away with it? That’s not how it works, kid. You’re getting a spanking, and I’m not playing around."

Charlotte (mocking again):

"What happened?"

"Let’s just say she learned not to call me 'French fry butt-loving nugget.'"

Steve (laughing):
"Sounds like you did fine. We knew you’d keep things under control."

Charlotte stays silent, avoiding eye contact with the Avengers as they unpack their gear.

Chapter 6: The Aftermath

Later that night, Charlotte sits quietly in her room, reflecting on what happened. Bucky knocks on her door.

Bucky:
"Hey, you doing alright?"

Charlotte (sniffling):
"Yeah… I’m sorry for what I said."

Bucky (softening a little):
"Good. I get it, being in charge isn’t easy. But you can’t just disrespect people like that, okay?"

Charlotte:
"Okay… I won’t do it again."

Bucky:
"Good. Now get some sleep. Tomorrow’s a new day."

With that, Bucky leaves, and Charlotte is left to think about how her actions led to consequences. She knows she’s learned her lesson—for now.
