Later that evening, Peter and MJ sat down with Charlotte to discuss her behavior. “Why did you think it was okay to call your mom that word?” Peter asked.

That night, Peter tucked Charlotte into bed, but not without one last reminder. “Remember, Charlotte, respect is important in this family. If you’re angry, talk to us. We’ll listen. But we won’t tolerate disrespect.”
Charlotte nodded, snuggling under her blankets. “I’ll try, Dad.”

Over the next few days, Charlotte worked on controlling her temper. She tried talking to MJ and Peter when she was frustrated instead of lashing out, and slowly, things began to improve.
