Setting: Avengers Compound. The Avengers kids, including Charlotte, are left unsupervised for a while, and that’s when things start to spiral.

Chapter 1: The Cussing Battle Begins

The Avengers kids — Charlotte, Charlie, Ariel, and some of their friends — are gathered in the common room of the Avengers Compound. Bored and looking for some fun, Charlotte decides to kick things up a notch.

Charlotte (grinning mischievously): “Let’s have a cussing battle! Bet none of you can beat me.”

The other kids laugh, all too eager to join in. They begin throwing out random, made-up curse words and phrases, laughing loudly at each insult.

Charlie: “Oh yeah? Well, you’re a flufflehead!”

Ariel (giggling): “Flufflehead? That’s nothing! You’re a… crumb-crunching, egg-faced dweeb!”

Charlotte (smirking, stepping up her game): “You all sound like a bunch of moldy sock puppets!”

The kids roar with laughter, each one trying to outdo the other. The noise grows louder and louder until F.R.I.D.A.Y., the AI assistant, takes notice.

F.R.I.D.A.Y. (in a calm but firm voice): “Attention, young Avengers. I have alerted your guardians about your inappropriate behavior.”

The kids freeze for a second, realizing they’ve been caught. But Charlotte, ever defiant, bolts toward the door.

Chapter 2: The Chase Begins

As soon as F.R.I.D.A.Y.’s warning comes through, Charlotte sprints out of the room. The other kids, instead of following her, begin singing and chanting.

Charlie (singing loudly): “She’s a runner, she’s a track star! She be running when she gets in trouble!”

Ariel (joining in): “She’s a runner, she’s a track star! She can’t take the heat so she runs far!”

The rest of the kids laugh and continue chanting as Charlotte disappears down the hallway, trying to find a place to hide. She dashes through corridors and rooms, trying to escape the inevitable.

Charlotte (panting): “They won’t catch me… I’m too fast!”

But F.R.I.D.A.Y. has alerted the Avengers, and they are on their way back.

Chapter 3: Caught

Charlotte is hiding behind a large couch in the lounge area when she hears footsteps approaching. She tries to stay quiet, but it’s too late. Tony Stark, her grandpa, walks into the room, followed closely by Peter, her dad.

Tony (sighing): “You really thought you could outrun F.R.I.D.A.Y.?”

Charlotte peeks out from behind the couch, her heart racing. She knows she’s in big trouble now.

Peter (crossing his arms): “Charlotte, come out from there. Now.”

Charlotte slowly stands up, her head hanging low.

Charlotte (mumbling): “I’m sorry…”

Tony: “Oh, you will be. You had a cussing battle, ran away, and then tried to hide? You know better than that.”

Peter: “You’re grounded, Charlotte. But first, you’re getting a spanking for all of this.”

Charlotte’s eyes widen, and she backs up a step.

Charlotte (pleading): “But Dad, I said I’m sorry!”

Peter (shaking his head): “Sorry isn’t enough this time. You know the rules.”

---

Chapter 4: The Consequences

Peter takes Charlotte by the hand and leads her to the living room, where Tony watches with a stern expression.

Peter: “You’re getting a spanking, and then you’re grounded. No hanging out with your friends, no games, nothing. You’re going to learn to behave.”

Charlotte winces as Peter gives her a firm spanking. She cries, promising to never do it again, but Peter remains firm. Once it’s over, she’s sent to her room to think about her behavior.

Chapter 5: Grounded

Later, Peter comes into Charlotte’s room, sitting down beside her on the bed. She’s still sniffling, wiping tears from her face.

Peter: “You know why you’re grounded, right?”

Charlotte (nodding quietly): “Yeah… I shouldn’t have had the cussing battle. And I shouldn’t have run away.”

Peter (nodding): “Exactly. We love you, Charlotte, but you need to learn that there are consequences for your actions.”

Charlotte sniffles and looks up at her dad.

Charlotte: “I’m really sorry, Dad. I won’t do it again.”

Peter (softening): “I know. Now, get some rest. You’ll be grounded for the next week, so no more mischief, okay?”

Charlotte (nodding): “Okay.”

The story ends with Charlotte reflecting on her actions and resolving to behave better in the future. Although she got into trouble, she knows that her family loves her and only wants her to learn from her mistakes.
