Chapter 1: The Outburst

At the Stark mansion, Charlotte Bella Marie Stark was in one of her moods. Sitting at the dining table with her mom, MJ, she felt frustrated by her mother’s constant chatter about chores.

“Charlotte, can you please help me clean up the kitchen?” MJ asked sweetly.

Charlotte rolled her eyes and replied, “Shut up, Mom.”

MJ looked surprised. “Excuse me?”

“I said shut up!” Charlotte repeated defiantly, crossing her arms.

MJ frowned, trying to maintain her composure. “That’s not a nice thing to say. You need to—”

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” Charlotte interrupted, repeating the phrase over and over again, counting each one.

“Charlotte!” MJ raised her voice, clearly upset. “That’s enough. You can’t speak to me like that. If you keep it up, I will call your dad when he gets home.”

Charlotte smirked, counting her verbal assaults. “Shut up! Shut up! That’s 14 times!”

“Just wait until your dad gets home. You’re going to get a spanking with the belt, and it will be 12 times,” MJ warned, her tone serious.

Charlotte rolled her eyes, feeling unfazed. “Whatever, Mom,” she muttered, storming off to her room.

Chapter 2: Entertaining Herself

Once in her room, Charlotte tried to distract herself from the impending punishment. She pulled out her toys and began playing, creating an elaborate story for her dolls, but she couldn’t shake the feeling of dread hanging over her.

“Why does she have to be so annoying?” Charlotte grumbled to herself, flinging her dolls around in frustration.

After a while, she heard her dad, Peter, come in through the front door. The tension in her stomach tightened as she knew it was only a matter of time before MJ would tell him what happened.

Chapter 3: Peter's Arrival

Peter walked into the house, his voice echoing as he called, “Hey, everyone! I’m home!”

Charlotte’s heart raced. She could hear MJ talking to him in the kitchen.

“Peter, Charlotte has been really disrespectful today,” MJ said, her voice serious. “She told me to shut up 14 times.”

Peter sighed, knowing this was going to be a tough conversation. He walked toward Charlotte’s room and knocked on the door.

“Charlotte, can I come in?”

“Uh, yeah,” she replied, trying to sound casual but knowing she was in trouble.

As he stepped inside, Peter noticed the scattered toys and the tense atmosphere. “What’s going on?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Nothing,” Charlotte said, trying to play innocent.

“Your mom told me what happened. You can’t talk to her like that. It’s disrespectful.”

Charlotte crossed her arms defensively. “But she was annoying me!”

“Even so, that’s not an excuse,” Peter replied firmly. “You’re getting a spanking with my belt when I finish up here. That’s 12 times, just like your mom said. And after that, you’re grounded for the week.”

Chapter 4: Grounded

Charlotte’s stomach dropped as she realized the full weight of her actions. “But, Dad, it’s not fair!”

“Fair or not, you made your choices,” Peter said sternly. “Disrespecting your mother is not something we take lightly in this house. You need to learn this lesson.”

“Fine,” Charlotte muttered, trying to hold back tears.

Peter nodded, knowing that discipline was necessary. “Go ahead and think about how you’ll treat your mom with respect from now on. I’ll be in shortly.”

As Peter left the room, Charlotte fell back onto her bed, her heart racing. She felt a mix of anger, frustration, and regret.

Being grounded for a week felt like forever, and she knew that her dad’s spanking was going to sting. But deep down, she also knew she had to do better.
