(Charlotte, still upset from earlier, stomps around her room, muttering to herself before launching into a dramatic fit.)

(Peter, visibly frustrated, storms into Charlotte’s room. She freezes for a moment, realizing she’s gone too far.)
Peter: “What did you just say?”
Charlotte (defiantly): “You heard me! I hate you!”
(Peter sighs, shakes his head, and gently but firmly turns her around, giving her a sharp slap on the butt.)
Peter: “Enough. I’ve had it with this behavior.”

(Peter sits Charlotte down on her bed, looking her directly in the eyes.)
Peter: “You do not scream at me, fake cry, or say hateful things like that. That’s not how we treat each other in this family. Do you understand me?”
Charlotte (sniffling): “Yes…”
Peter: “Good. But you’re grounded for the rest of the week. No TV, no phone, no playtime with your siblings. I want you to use this time to think about how to behave better.”
