Chapter 1: The Plan
It was a special day at Avengers Academy, as Ezaih Woods, Black Panther's 7-year-old son, had been planning a surprise for his girlfriend, Charlotte Stark, Spider-Man's 8-year-old daughter. Today was their two-year anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend, and Ezaih wanted to make it unforgettable.
He nervously showed his gifts to Charlie Stark, Charlotte’s twin brother. “What do you think? Will she like the ring, necklace, and earrings?”
Charlie raised an eyebrow, grinning. “Wow, that’s a lot for a second-grader, but hey, if she likes it, go for it.”
Ezaih nodded, “She’s my queen. I gotta show her how much she means to me.”
Chapter 2: The Big Moment
It was advisory time, and Ezaih had planned everything. The group was gathered in the office of their case managers, Samul Strange (aka Nova) and T’Challa Woods (aka Black Panther, Ezaih’s father). The usual crew was there: Charlotte, her twin brother Charlie, Sammie Strange, David Wilson, LT Strange, Emily Strange, Polly Strange, Ava Odinson, and even little 5-year-old Areilella Stark, Charlotte’s younger sister.
Ezaih stood up, taking a deep breath. “Everyone, I need your attention.”
The other kids turned, confused but curious. Ezaih walked over to Charlotte, who was sitting at her desk, and pulled out the ring, necklace, and earrings from his pocket. He got down on one knee, holding the gifts in his hands.
“Charlotte, you mean so much to me. Be my baddie. Be my queen. Be my girlfriend forever.”
Charlotte’s eyes widened in shock, and her cheeks flushed bright red. She couldn’t believe what was happening. The other kids gasped, with Polly whispering, “Oh my gosh, this is intense.”
Ava Odinson smiled, whispering to Emily Strange, “This is like a royal proposal.”
Chapter 3: The Reaction
Charlotte blinked, still processing. “Ezaih… wow, these are beautiful.”
Ezaih smiled, his face filled with pride. “I just wanted to show you how much I care.”
The kids started clapping, with Sammie Strange yelling, “That’s some commitment!”
But the celebration was cut short when Peter Stark, Charlotte’s dad, Spider-Man himself, walked into the room at that exact moment. He looked at the scene before him, then at the jewelry in his daughter’s hands, and immediately felt his stomach churn.
“What… is… going on here?” Peter asked, his voice strained.
Ezaih stood up, smiling nervously. “I gave Charlotte some gifts… to show how much I love her.”
Peter looked from Ezaih to Charlotte, then at the ring and the necklace. Without saying another word, Peter Stark walked over to the nearest trash can and threw up dramatically.
Charlie laughed, “Well, that’s one way to react.”
Charlotte buried her face in her hands, groaning. “Oh no…”
Chapter 4: The Awkward Silence
The room fell into an awkward silence as Peter wiped his mouth, clearly struggling to process what had just happened.
“Ezaih,” Peter started, his voice stern, “you’re… 7 years old.”
Ezaih nodded, still smiling. “Yes, sir.”
“And you gave my 8-year-old daughter a… ring?” Peter’s eyes narrowed.
“Yes, sir,” Ezaih said, proudly. “Because she’s my queen.”
Peter blinked, clearly unsure of how to handle the situation. He looked over at Black Panther, who was standing there with his arms crossed, watching everything unfold. T’Challa raised an eyebrow at Peter, not saying a word, but clearly trying not to laugh.
“Okay… this is happening,” Peter muttered. “Charlotte, we’re going home. Now.”
Charlotte’s face turned beet red. “But Dad, I—”
“No. We’re going home,” Peter repeated, trying to keep his composure. “And we’re going to have a long talk about this.”
Chapter 5: The Departure
As Peter led Charlotte out of the room, Ezaih called after her, “Don’t worry, Charlotte, I’ll wait for you!”
Charlotte glanced back at him, blushing furiously, while Charlie, still laughing, whispered to Sammie, “Well, this just got even more embarrassing.”
T’Challa finally spoke up, looking at Ezaih with a small smile. “Son, we’ll talk about this later.”
Ezaih nodded, still looking proud of himself. “I just wanted to show her how much I love her, Dad.”
Black Panther chuckled softly. “I see that. But you might want to ease up on the grand gestures for now.”
Chapter 6: Back at Home
When Charlotte got home with Peter and MJ, she was still mortified. Peter sat her down in the living room, pacing back and forth. “Charlotte, you’re 8 years old. You don’t need rings, necklaces, or earrings from boys right now.”
Charlotte crossed her arms. “It was just a gift, Dad.”
Peter groaned. “It’s not just a gift. It’s a whole ‘be my queen’ proposal! You’re not allowed to have a boyfriend until you’re at least 25!”
MJ, trying not to laugh, placed a hand on Peter’s shoulder. “Relax, Peter. They’re kids. They’ll grow out of it.”
“Yeah, well, they can grow out of it without jewelry,” Peter muttered.
Charlotte sighed, clearly embarrassed. “I can’t believe you threw up.”
Peter looked at her, raising an eyebrow. “I’ll throw up again if it means keeping you from dating.”
Charlotte rolled her eyes. “Ugh, Dad…”
Chapter 7: The Aftermath
Back at the Academy, Ezaih was still basking in the glory of his moment, unaware of the aftermath happening at Charlotte’s house. His dad, T’Challa, finally pulled him aside.
“You did well in showing your feelings, Ezaih, but next time, maybe just stick to flowers.”
Ezaih nodded, smiling. “Okay, Dad.”
But he still couldn’t help feeling proud of the ring on his finger that matched Charlotte’s, knowing that, in his heart, she was his queen.
