|3rd Person POV|

-Two days later-

She cried, screamed and grieved.. now the state needs a new sultan because every day that passes poses a great threat to everything..

Finally she opened the door to find everyone waiting for her at the door of her room... She spent a lot of time saying goodbye to her sons and then spent some time with herself... She needed to think deeply.

What gave her strength was her dream last night where Mehmet visited her and he seemed very happy to meet his sons Selim and Ibrahim, he even told her that she shouldn't blame herself for not protecting them because she did everything she could... She also saw herself wearing that white dress again decorated with gold and standing in front of the third chair on which Mehmet's crown was... Suddenly, her third son, Bayezid, came to mind.

"Where is Bayezid?" She asked in a somewhat cold voice.

"He is sleeping in his room" Fahriye Kalfa approached her "It is still very early, the sun has not even risen yet... I will prepare something for you to eat, Sultana"

"There is no need for that" Nurgül took a deep breath then headed to her son Beyezid's room after signaling to everyone not to follow her... She reached the door where she found many guards guarding his room... She intertwined her fingers nervously then entered.

"Mother" a voice came to her from the darkness and when she turned around she found Bayezid sitting on the sofa, she never expected that he would be awake.

"My son" she approached him to hugged him tightly then moved away to light some candles to see him well "Why are you awake at this time?"

"Maybe it is fear... or sadness... I do not know" he replied calmly as he adjusted his position then Nurgül approached him and sat next to him.

"As for sadness, we all go through these dark times... With every death, a big part of me is destroyed" She raised her hand and ran it through his blonde hair that looked so much like hers "As for fear, you have always been one of the bravest members of the dynasty" She smiled through her tears "Even your father always praised your courage"

"I am not afraid of death" He looked deeply into her eyes "I am afraid of causing you sadness, mother"

She pulled him into her embrace and put her hand behind his back "I am not like before, Bayezid... We will fight together... I will be your shadow... We will destroy all our enemies and we will both rule from the same throne with strength and wisdom... I will no longer be the weak Nurgül...Instead of seeing my sons as a weakness, I want them to see them as my strength"

She took his face in her hands and looked at him confidently "The blood of your father... Selim... Ibrahim will not be in vain, Bayezid... We will make them very proud"

"Valide" he raised his hand and began to wipe her tears gently "I swear to you that I will do everything I can and together we will be a great turning point"

After a long talk between her and her son, she stood up and then allowed the servants and Aymen Pasha to enter, everything began to prepare little by little... Bayezid put on his clothes and a serious look covered his face then turned to his mother.

"My dear son" she tried to control her feelings then took the ring from the table and put it on Bayezid finger "May your reign be long and great"

"Thank you mother" he placed a kiss on her hand "We will make my father and Selim very proud"

She smiled then indicated to everyone to leave him to pray while she stood on the balcony with Aymen Pasha.

"It is good to see you strong, Sultana" Aymen said respectfully, all that came to his mind was he hated her years ago and how his friend şehzade Mehmet at the time was very impressed with her... He never imagined that this girl would turn into this strong woman.
