Bonus Chapter: What happened before, during, and after Davin and Redler's senior high school graduation day?
"May nanlalamang talaga, 'no?
It was clear they were talking about me—after all, we were all sitting right next to each other. The reason why they were talking nonstop is because they have already found out that Davin and I are officially dating.
It's been three weeks noong sinagot ko siya. That was absolutely one of the most treasured moments I ill never afford to forget. Ganoon pala ang pakiramdam na sinagot ko siya, and to this day, that feeling continues to tickle my whole system.
"Bakit ipapatumba pa? P'wede namang mas lamangan natin," Asther muttered maliciously, leaning his cheek against his palm while secretly staring at Edo.
I nearly choked on my own saliva and had to stifle a laugh. His voice was barely a whisper, just loud enough for me to hear. It seemed like Edorina had really no idea about the secret admiration Asther had for her. Ang manhid niya sa part na 'yon.
Asther glared at me jokingly but Edorina smacked the table as she intrigued what was going on.
"Anong sabi mo?" tanong ni Edo.
She's totally unaware so Asther pretended to roll his eyes after diverting his attention on the opposite side.
The bell rang immediately, signaling the end of the day, and we all quickly stood up. It's finally time to go home. These past few days have been truly exhausting. Since malapit na kaming grumaduate, the schoolwork has piled up all at once.
My forehead quickly creased as I casted a glance at the window. The windshield were all open, causing me to see a dummy in the corridor, being showered by multiple greetings from his peers and other friends. He would smile wide while wholeheartedly greeting them back. What a soft extrovert who never fails himself to be remembered by anyone. I smiled at that thought.
Davin's already there, standing tall and firm, leaning his back against the wall while his hand is inside his pocket. When in fact, siya ang may sinusundo—at ako 'yon.
The mere sight of him had already wrack my heart's cage. It may sound cringey but that was the truth. I never had imagine that my emotions would stir me up so deeply just for Davin. He's only the person who could ease yet arose these emotions of mine.
"Shet na malagket. Edi kayo na." Inirapan ako ni Edo.
I quickly tidied up my things before adjusting my necktie as I fixed my hair and overall appearance. Knowing his attitude and personality, wala akong takas sa kagaguhan niya.
"Mga cleaners d'yan, maglinis. Babantayan namin 'tong pinto.
I pursed my lips. Cleaners nga pala kami! I did my part quickly with no hesitation so I could head home early. I want to get out from here as soon as possible.
