DILEMMA.

It's a situation where you find it difficult to make a clear decision about what's best for you. You're caught between two options, weighing the pros and cons of each. Simply put, it's being torn between two choices.

And for now, that's where I am. I was gripping my phone snugly while staring at the screen nonstop. It's been minutes since I received a notification and a message.

Kadalasan, wala naman kaso sa akin 'yon.

Pero, sa nakikita ko pa lang, and pangalan ng taong nag pa-follow at nag-a-add sa akin ngayon sa Twitter at Instagram ay hindi ko na mawari kung hahayaan ko na lang 'to o hindi. And the worst part is... he's adding my private account.

I tightened my eyes shut as I impatiently tossed my phone away to my bed. It bounced too hard that I immediately stood up from sitting at my gaming chair. Dali-dali akong pumunta sa kama dahil tumalbog ang phone ko at muntikan nang nalaglag sa sahig.

How reckless of me. Wala pa akong pamalit do'n kung sakaling masira.

"Siraulo." I cussed at myself.

The next morning, I was busy jotting down on my notebook while Edorina who's sitting across the table was busy typing something on her phone. Dinig na dinig ko pa ang pagtipa ng mga kuko niya sa phone habang humahagikgik.

"Seryoso, para kang aning d'yan," I commented while busy writing in my notebook.

We were in a small coffee shop near our Morgen High—kape ; tahanan. Nakasulat ang pangalan nito sa entrance ng coffee shop gamit ang salitang baybayin.

Palagi kaming nagpupunta rito ni Edorina tuwing umaga dahil mga early bird kami. Usually, I would go here just to lounge some time or to have an alone time with myself.

The coffee shop's interior design has a welcoming, pleasant aesthetic, and a serene meadow-like ambiance. There were multiple paintings and notes that were hanging on each wall. We were sitting beside the glass wall so we could easily see the morning scenery outside. It looks calming, just taking a glance outside was enough to make me feel comfortable.

P'wede na ulit matulog.

"Kontra bida! Nagte-take lang ako ng pang IG, ano. For the clout ba!" Edo sneered.

I just shook my head. 'Yon nga naman talaga ang rason niya kung bakit gustong-gusto niyang tumatambay muna dito tuwing umaga. Instagramable nga naman kasi ang loob ng coffee shop, hindi ko rin siya masisi.

Nag take na lang din ako ng isang picture pero wala akong balak na i-myday or i-post sa IG story.

"Ikaw, kaya nga sinasama kita rito ay para makahanap ka na ng taong para sa 'yo!" she teased this time.

I then gave her a sour look. She quickly understood what my expression means kaya natawa siya.

"Kapag sa coffee shop talaga malay mo magka-coffee lover boyfriend ka pa. Ayaw mo no'n, coffee date kayo. Tapos doon na 'yong mga romantic kineme ninyo, hays! Ang hina mo!" dagdag niya pa.

Hindi talaga nauubusan ng sinasabi si Edo.

"Guard, may OA," komento ko. "Wala akong panahon sa gan'yan."

I would rather spend my time alone than on meaningless dating. Kuntento na ako sa tahimik kong espasyo. Kung may dumating man na manggugulo, aba, sino siya para payagan ko?
