Chapter 24

"Ang yabang-yabang naman! Porke dumating na 'yong boyfriend mo!"

I raised an eyebrow at Razel and set aside my book. A faint smirk played on my lips as I casually flipped my hair to annoy her. In response, she rolled her eyes, giving me an annoying, almost disgusted look, leaning her back against the chair while crossing her arms. It was hard to tell whether she was being supportive or simply being bitter towards me, samantalang siya 'tong ayaw sa commitment.

"Deadma sa basher-or should I say bitter?" I shook my head as I took a sip on my ice coffee.

Good thing I am so close to finish the half of the book.

Davin on the other hand, he's so close to finishing the other book he's been reading two days ago.

"Anong bitter? Duh! Never!

"It's good for emotional and mental support during these days. At least, my boyfriend's very understanding, and he's taking care of me," I said confidently.

"Naks, napakayabang talaga. Magdadabog na ba ako nito?" she added, rolling her eyes again. "How about sa physical support, ha? Sex tuwing gabi?" walang prenong tanong niya.

I quickly choked upon my own saliva and attempted to smack her with the book I was holding.

"Gago!" I sneered at her, my cheeks started to feel heat.

I sipped on my coffee again, feeling tensed about what she meant.

"Hindi naman talaga! We haven't done it yet, stupid!" I scowled. I swear, pulang-pula na ang mukha ko.

She covered her mouth, totally surprised. "Seryoso?!" intriga niya kaya napilitan akong tumango. "Kinginang 'yan!" she commented, laughing.

"Shut it! You're too loud!" saway ko sa kanya dahil hindi na siya tumigil.

She really had no intention of stopping teasing me! Fortunately, the librarian suddenly passed in our direction, so we instantly fell silent and pretended to focus on the book and read. Although the truth is, hindi na ako maka-focus sa pagbabasa dahil inaalala ko ang mga pinagsasasabi ni Razel kanina.

Why am I even thinking about it? Naisip ko tuloy; paano 'yon?

Enough. This is not helping me at all. I should focus on reading, mas kailangan ko nang madaliin 'to dahil sa friday na ang pasahan ng book review.

As soon as lunch time came, I prepared myself to leave, eager to go home now because we don't have classes this afternoon.

"Uhm... hi, Redler."

I had not even arrived at the door when one of my blockmates called me. I looked at Venzel, a student council member of the campus. He's wearing his uniform neatly, nakasuot din siya ng specs.
