Wherever You Will Go by The Calling

Chapter 34

"I'll give you minutes to decide your pose. Just tell me when you're ready."

Silence enveloped the surroundings as Davin and I entered a room for his workspace, where he creates artwork live for clients. The room was a bit spacious, mayroon din mga naka-organize na gamit, siguro ay para magamit itong accessories.

Upon seeing a mirror, I gazed at my reflection, observing myself from head to bust. Deciding against commissioning a full-body portrait, I opted instead for one capturing me from the bust up.

I remained looking at my reflection. Inayos ko ang buhok at inilugay ito. The half part of my hair was draped over my right shoulder, making it block my right chest. My hair was already long enough to cover it. The other half part, which was the left, remained behind me.

Including my eyebrow piercing.

Soon as I felt satisfied with what I looked like, I cleared my throat once before averting my gaze to Davin. He's waiting for me to finish, umiwas din siya agad ng tingin. He prompted to open the door.

"Where are you going?" mahinang tanong ko.

"Your friend might be looking for you," simple niyang sagot. "I'll let her know that you're here."

Nanatili akong nakatayo at huminga nang malalim. He went outside for a while, leaving me alone in this spacious room while admiring its interior and the way it looks.

The ambiance here feels so natural and comfortably pretty. I could smell Davin's signature scent here, reminiscent of sweet lavender.

They're obviously plastic flowers. Among them was a lavender crown, which I quickly placed atop my head—a simple circular crown resembling those worn by fairies.

I roamed my gaze again, and I noticed the corner where some fabric clothings is displayed. I was speechless by the fabric's design, adorned with glitter, artificial accessories, and other elements that look aesthetically pleasing.

It was a simple tulle fabric, its size was enough to be worn from shoulders down to the bust.

I undressed my top, leaving the white tube in my chest, then wore the fabric over it. This silvery lavender tulle fabric unexpectedly complimented my skin tone. As I glanced at the mirror once more, I just found myself in a trance of awe by how pretty I looked.

"Your friend left."

I noticed how his eyes widened when he looked at my face down to my bust, tila ba inoobserbahan ang hitsura ko ngayon.

"Are you done with the preparation?" tanong niya kaya tumango ako. "I see. They look good on you," he commented, referring to the things I wore just now. "Let's begin."

"Wait, may sinabi ba si Edo?" I brought up.

He sighed. "She said aalis na siya nang makapili siya ng artwork. And uh..." He cleared his throat, "I gave it to her for free."

"In exchange for her leaving the studio so I could close it for a while," he added, making me look at him, surprised.
