Walking into the Salvatore's house, I know that helping Klaus get his siblings back is the only way to start my and my siblings revenge on all the people involved with Manuel's death, beginning by essentially terrorising them.
"I think it's about time we had a drink, don't you?" Klaus asks Damon as we walk into the library where Damon is stood, pouring himself a drink.
"I'd say we were overdue." Damon responds, a fake smile on his face.
"You've been so busy." Klaus starts. "With all your plotting and scheming."
"Your overall unsuccessful plots and schemes." I say, heading over to shelves which are covered in books, taking one off, flicking through it before throwing it onto the floor behind me. "The only thing you've actually managed to do is get my brother killed."
"You know me. Never miss a chance to plan an epic failure." Damon comments, clearly not pleased with their overall lack of success in defeating Klaus.
"Don't be so hard on yourself." Klaus mocks him as he walks over. "Who could have guessed your own brother would betray you?"
"Well, I did have a front row seat when your sister lied to you." Damon snaps back, causing me to laugh slightly. This pissing contest between Klaus and Damon was pathetic to say in the slightest.
Klaus's face contorted into an expression of annoyance after shooting a glare at me. "Yeah, well she's fickle that one."
"So you don't happen to know where Bekah is, huh?" I ask rhetorically, knowing without a doubt in my mind that Damon knew where Rebekah was.
"That's the thing with younger siblings." Damon chuckles, although it holds no humour. "You never know what they're going to do."
"That's ironic, considering its your actions that mean I no longer have four younger siblings to worry about, just three." I glance over at Damon as I sit.
"Manuel getting killed was never apart of the plan." Damon brushes off.
"Hmm, funny. But he still is, your actions are the reason he is dead." I comment, looking down at my hands for a second. "Your blind need to see Klaus dead only led to more havoc, and a handful more enemies."
Damon looks down for a second, almost as if he is contemplating something before looking up again. "Drink?"
Both me and Klaus took a glass from Damon silently, my hands itching and a throbbing pain in my head demanding that I kill Damon but I silence it, knowing the revenge will be so much better if I play the long game.
"Cheers mate." Klaus smirks as he receives the glass from Damon.
"Down the hatch." Damon replies as he takes a drink from his glass.
I stay sitting in between the two men who were standing on opposite sides of the room, taking slow sips of my drink awkwardly.
"You know, we've actually got a lot in common, you and I." Klaus spoke, causing me to snort and begin coughing quietly as the drink went down the wrong way. Klaus glares over at me with which I reply with a glare of my own.
"Really? Well, yeah. Maybe we can bond over the mutual loathing of my brother." Damon dryly responds. "Why are you so mad at him? He stole something?"
Klaus scowls. "My family. The originals. I had them daggered, boxed up, awaiting the day when I saw fit to wake them and he went in and pinched the bloody lot."
Damon chuckles, glancing out the window which earns a fiery stare from both Klaus and myself. "Of course he did. Ah, such a buzzkill, my baby bro. Well, I'd love to help you find him, trouble is, I sure as hell don't work for you."
