The next morning, [Y/N] woke up a little restless. The events of last night were still vivid in her mind. The visit from the two Demon Moons was definitely something she hadn't expected, much less prepared for. It was quite a mystery, especially from Akaza. No matter how hard she tried to find suitable reasons, she couldn't. She had to accept that until she saw them again, she would be left without answers.
It was early that morning. Because of the events of yesterday, she hadn't really been able to rest for long or restfully. Her mind was just racing with thoughts, which made it easy to get up early. It wasn't so early that the people on the estate weren't awake, but it definitely wasn't late enough for everyone to be really active and full of energy.
She found herself lying peacefully in bed, gently turning Rui's little puppet between her hands. She was idle, not knowing what she should do. But she wasn't sure if she wanted to do anything at that moment. At that moment, staying in her thoughts seemed like the best option for her.
Her mind kept returning to the demons over and over. There were so many unanswered questions. She wondered if there were any questions among them that would remain unanswered.
The sound of footsteps suddenly caught her ear. She knew who was approaching, but on this rare occasion she had let herself just lie in bed. Even though she was aware that someone was approaching her, her thoughts dominated her mind. With so many thoughts, it suddenly seemed difficult to think about anything else.
However, those thoughts suddenly disappeared when she saw Shinobu enter the room and her usual expression was somehow different. She looked really serious, but there seemed to be a hint of excitement and curiosity under her gaze.
She shifted slightly on the bed, pushing herself up. She watched curiously as the Hashira stood next to her bed.
"Good morning, [Y/N]." Shinobu began softly. "It's a little early, but I want you to know that someone has come to visit you."
[Y/N] looked at her with complete curiosity this time. Who could that visitor be? There had been surprise visitors in the past few days, such as Sanemi, although he hadn't specifically come to see her, but she hadn't been informed of any of them in advance. Could it be that this person's visit was exceptional?
"Visitor? And who is it?" she asked with a small smile. Although she didn't know who it was, she was still curious. She was always happy when someone visited her, so she welcomed the person, whoever it was.
Shinobu smiled softly, but there was still a seriousness in her gaze. "A Hashira has come to visit you. Himejima Gyomei."
[Y/N]'s eyes widened slightly. Gyomei came to visit? For what reason? Outside of their trial, she had never met him or spoken to him. They weren't strangers to each other, but they definitely weren't acquaintances either. His visit was definitely mysterious and full of questions.
