The four demon slayers, along with the two demons, and the Hashira finally arrived at their destination. They were transported by two rickshaws, one with the small group in it and Tengen in the other. Except for the man, all of them looked at the place in awe and surprise, as they had never seen anything like it before with their own eyes. Not even Zenitsu, although he knew of the existence and properties of this place.
It was already dark by the time they got there. The place was lit by many lamps and compared to how full of mischief and desire the place actually was, it was surprisingly calm, almost giving off a pleasant atmosphere.
Their eyes wandered curiously, glancing up at the balconies of the taller houses, where many young women were watching the streets and their arrival.
"Listen to me!" Tengen suddenly said, closing his eyes and folding his arms tightly in front of his chest. "Don't draw attention to yourself. Remember, we're just surveying the area. Whatever happens, don't leave the rickshaw!"
But as soon as he said those words, Zenitsu and Inosuke jumped out of the rickshaw with a burst of energy and curiosity and began to explore the place.
"You can't, Zenitsu!" Tanjiro told him, his voice warning, but soft, as he didn't want to attract attention. He wanted to follow Tengen's orders properly.
"Inosuke! Come back!" [Y/N] shouted to the other boy. "Come on! Let's bring them back!" she said again, then grabbed Tanjiro's hand and they jumped off the rickshaw. "You find Zenitsu, I'll go after Inosuke."
Tanjiro nodded, then set off to find the yellow haired boy while [Y/N] tried to follow the wild boy's tracks. Fortunately, she found him easily, as the boy was almost trembling as he spied a completely unfamiliar location and houses. He was not used to exploring such a different and seemingly completely new world. They were not like the familiar mountains or simple villages he had encountered during his missions.
"Inosuke! Come on, we mustn't wander off." she told him as she grabbed his arm and tried to pull him back. In front of them was Zenitsu, who was watching the place with a slightly flushed face, and behind him was Tanjiro, who was trying to hold him back.
"Come back right away!" Tengen shouted to them as he caught up with them. It was humiliating to have to apologize to the people pulling the rickshaws, he didn't even want to mess with their unruly bottoms too.
"Hey, blond! Stay where you are!" he shouted at Zenitsu as he saw his eagerly trying to free himself from Tanjiro's grip.
"This... It's like it's daytime." Tanjiro remarked in shock, memories of Tokyo Prefecture flooding his mind. That place, like this, carried a lot of light with it, almost giving the impression that it was daytime, the darkness of the sky not mattering at all.
