It was already evening when [Y/N] prepared for the next events. She slowly put her uniform back on. She and her two other friends were determined to take action. They weren't sure if Tengen knew about their stay, but that didn't matter right now. They had only one goal in mind, and that was to save Zenitsu, the wives, and finish off the demon.
Rui stood beside her with a blank stare, his eyes watching her slowly pull the haori over herself. He could sense from miles away that something was wrong. He knew exactly why. She felt guilty, she was in pain. He knew she blamed herself for Zenitsu's disappearance. To say he didn't like the thought would be an understatement.
"Onee-san..." she said suddenly as he stepped closer and grabbed the material of the haori. The girl's movements immediately stopped. She turned towards him slowly, almost nerve-wrackingly slowly. A flash of concern flashed in her eyes.
"What's wrong, Rui?" she finally asked, after analyzing his expression.
"You're tense. I don't like it." he stated simply. He slowly moved closer, wrapping his arms around her waist and sighing, snuggling into her warm embrace. He wasn't sure which one of them he wanted to comfort. Although she needed peace badly, he couldn't deny that he needed it too. He hadn't had many chances to be this close to her in the past few days, and it made him yearn and feel miserable.
[Y/N] watched his actions with a bit of shock, but she slowly wrapped her arms around him. Her mind slowly calmed down a bit. The guilt was still there, but Rui's embrace helped her forget it for a moment and just focus on the soothing moment.
"We'll find Zenitsu and save him. With everyone else." she said softly. The demon said nothing, just squeezed her tighter. That was more than enough to reassure the girl that he was willing to help and promised that everything would be okay.
"Come on. Climb into the box. We don't have time to waste." she said again, and he reluctantly pulled away. He didn't want to climb back into the box, and it was evening, so he could have walked alone. But he knew it was the right thing to do. It was safer this way and wouldn't arouse suspicion from people.
Finally, he shrank to his tiny form and climbed into the box. The girl smiled at him gently, then stroked his head and closed the door. She placed the box safely on her back, then hurried out of the house unnoticed.

[Y/N] ran quickly across the rooftops. She hurried towards Inosuke's house to get there as soon as possible. She hoped that the boy hadn't started any unnecessary actions, after all, she knew how stubborn he could be. But her steps suddenly stopped.
