"Chandler," I yelled after him.
I let go of Puck and hobbled after Chandler.
I put my hand on the knob and attempted to turn it.
It was locked.
"Chandler, open the door."
He ignored me and the door remained closed.
"Chandler!"
Nothing that I did for him to answer the door.
I eventually left and continued my daily routine with a sense of paranoia.
I had no idea if Rumple was around or if he was somewhere far away.
*Flashback*
"Hey, Sabrina." someone called.
"Hey, Ruford." I replied.
Ruford and I had been, I guess you could say, friends, but he wanted more.
He had always seemed to be asking me if I had a boyfriend.
It was in those days that I hadn't wanted to be anyone's friend, but Ruford was just like me.
He lost both of his parents in the war and he was all alone. He didn't have anymore family.
He lived in an orphanage and he couldn't wait until he turned eighteen so that he could leave he place.
The only thing was that while he was there, he started to experience how the nurses and adults I the house didn't treat the kids as a parent would.
Ruford became a role model for he children and he considered himself to be a parent he actually cared about them.
"Sabrina, I wanted to ask you if you would be my girlfriend."
I was shocked. He knew that I didn't want to be anything to anyone. I couldn't take losing someone again, so I gently turned down his offer.
*End Flashback*
We were still friends, but I noticed that he was a little more distant.
As the years went on, the princesses and all the other people in Ferryport Landing started reporting him for harassment.
Apparently, figured that all the children in Ferryport Landing would be better off with him than with their own parents, so he made deals with them to give up their first born.
The people fell for it, but when it came to giving up their child, they wouldn't do it.
Ruford ended up going to jail after he came up with the alias of Rumplestiltskin and started trick in people into giving him their babies.
Many people had tried to keep him in jail, but Rumplestiltskin was too powerful and had too much magic to be controlled.
A few years later, Rumple came to visit me.
*Flashback*
"You need to give yourself up, Ruford."
He growled,"Rumplestiltskin. And I don't want to. I came here to ask if you wanted to come with me. I'm leaving town. I want to help more children out there."
I came closer to him,"You're not helping those children. Their parents aren't willing to give them up. Isn't that good enough?"
Rumple laughed,"No. The fact that they would offer their child as payment is horrible."
I nodded. I couldn't disagree with that.
"Come with me. Be the maiden at my side."
I looked at my house.
"I can't, Rumple. I need to be here with my family."
He gave a devilish grin,"It wasn't really a choice. You're going to be the maiden at my side."
I looked at him. He was totally serious.
"Rumple," I started before he cut me off by grabbing my wrist.
"You're coming with me." he growled.
I tried to resist, but he pulled out a knife and ran it down the length of my arm.
I yelped out in pain.
"Stings, doesn't it? Resist again, and the next one is your face."
I stared in shock and grimaced in pain.
I had never seen him like this.
Puck came out of no where and tackled Rumple.
I staggered back and watched my arm bleed and drop onto the cold pavement.
When I looked back up, Puck had Rumple tied to a tree.
He rushed me inside and cleaned up my wound. He hugged me as I cried until the police showed up and dragged my friend into the car.
I hugged Puck close as Rumple flipped us off and mouthed,"Im going to get you."
*End Flashback*
I looked down at the small scar of the old wound.
I remembered when Chandler asked me what had happened.
I hadn't told him all of what happened.
I think my exact words were,"A friend from Ferryport Landing didn't get his way."
I missed Chandler. He hadn't come out of the room in hours.
I didn't want to hurt him by hugging Puck.
Red offered her bed for me,"You need it more than I do, Mommy-to-be. I'll take the couch."
I tried to refuse, but she grabbed a pillow and threw it and herself on the couch.
Puck threw a blanket on the floor and I figured that he would be sleeping there tonight.
I sighed and walked back to her room with Puck behind me.
I crawled into her bed and pulled the covers over me.
Puck sat on the edge of the bed.
"I'm sorry," he said,"I didn't mean to get you in trouble with Chandler."
I shrugged,"He shouldn't be so sensitive. I mean, no offense, but I'm over you. I love Chandler and the fact that he got so mad over me hugging you just shows that he's a little insecure."
Puck laughed,"None taken and yeah, I'm over you too. I mean, not really. I still love you and I would do anything for you, but I wouldn't try and break you and Chandler up. I love you enough to know that you're happy and I wouldn't want to mess that up."
He thought about it for a second and said,"I mean, again."
"Puck?" I said.
"Yeah?" He replied.
"Shut up."
He laughed,"Yes Ma'am."
I smiled and pulled him into a hug,"Night."
He kissed my temple,"Night, Bri."I loved seeing your comments on whether you guys liked Puckabrina or Sandler better. Rosymax, hang in there. With the fans, you're the only one on the Sandler boat.
