It All Began With A...
Chapter Twenty-Five
Bridal Style? Is That A New Position? If So, I'm Free At Six{A.N. So I'm gonna try something with the titles of the story, I'm trying to explore the realms of titles.}
I awoke to the sound of hammering, like, I sleepishly reached for the alarm clock beside me to read that it wasn't even six in the morning yet.
I waited a few minutes to see if the hammering would just stop, but it didn't seem like it was going to stop anytime soon. I crawled out of bed and stood up, who ever is hammering better be hammering their coffin because no way am I going to buy them one after this.
I walked to the door and turned the knob to peak outside only to find it hard to do so. I looked down at the knob to check if the door was locked or not - even if it was, it shouldn't be this hard to open a hotel door.
I shook the door a little to find that useless.
"Alright door, looks like we're going to do this the hard way then." I muttered as I took a step back to try to lunge myself at the door in hopes that it would open to me that way, before I could hit the door, the door knob shook. I tried to stop myself before I would impact the door, but as it was opening, I took one wrong step and ended up hitting the side of my head as the door now opened.
"D-Dudette!" America exclaimed, "Did you forget how to open doors or something?"
I frowned as I rubbed my head, "It wouldn't open, and what's that hammering?" I asked, turning up to him.
"Oh that's maintenance, Germany brought a pull up bar that you put in a doorway when he went to the store with Jaden yesterday. When he went up, the roof went down." He laughed.
He held his hand out and helped me stand, he checked my head to see if the door did any damage, "Okay then, why was the door locked then?" I asked.
"Locked? Nah, it's not locked, Amber, Emma, and Maddie just did a thing."
"A thing?"
"A thing." He nodded.
He moved out of the way and I stepped outside to see the entire hallway we were on engulfed in rainbow yarn.
"What the-?" I asked, not knowing what to say.
"_____, we can be spies now." America spoke.
"Wait I feel like I've seen this before." I spoke as I looked at all of the yarn that went under chairs and over tables, around door knobs.
"Maybe in a book or something?" America replied as he smiled, "So are you gonna be in your pyjamas all day or something?"
I looked down at my clothes before looking back up at him and nodding, "Yes, yes I am."
"Radical dudette!" He exclaimed before taking my hand, "Come on then, we gotta eat!" He tugged my hand as we struggled going through the maze of yarn because he kept lunging himself into it rather than going through it.
Needless to say that no more than three body tosses into the yarn, he was being tied back. Unluckily for him, this was yarn and some strands couldn't keep up with him so they snapped so he fell down onto his face.
"A-Are you okay?" I asked, face palming.
"Yeah!" He jumped straight up, choking as his head went through a space in the yarn.
I walked on ahead to the elevator, what an idiot... But then again, he is my idiot.. A smile spread across my face as the elevator sung as it opened on the floor.
