After her conversation with Lamine late last night, Alicia was ready to speak to her brother. It had been three days of loudly slamming doors and preparing separate meals, it was finally enough.

Lamine had helped her escape from the harsh reality by inviting her over the night after his last barca game for dinner with his mum.
He wasnt really bothered about Nico and Thalia, they would make a cute couple but he tried his hardest to take on board Alicias feelings.

Maria and Alejandro coming forward to apologise made her feel less dramatic and it was good to have things slowly returning back to normal.

Feeling the thumping of her head as she pulled it off the pillow, she realised she had fallen asleep with her light on. Rubbing the sleep away from her eyes she reached for her phone awaiting the usual Good Morning message from Lamine.

'Nico..' Alicia muttered, slightly opening her bedroom door to peak and see if he was outside eating breakfast.
'Mhm..' He replied, flipping the page of the newspaper he was reading.

'You should've told me' She tutted, hitting him playfully on the left shoulder before joining him at the table.
'You should've told me' He spoke with attitude finally making eye contact with her.

'Nuh uh' She shook her head, there was similarity in their situations but he couldn't get out of this and neither could Thalia.
'Since when did you care about my love life so much anyway?' Nico sighed, walking away from the conversation.

'Since you started dating my best friend' She laughed feeling like he could've answered that question himself.
'We aren't dating. Its just..complicated' Nico always found it difficult talking about anything to with his relationship status with his sister especially since it had to do with her best friend.

'I get it and im sorry if my outburst added to the complicity but you should've told me. Instead of acting like i was the one in the wrong with Lamine, knowing how much we liked each other' Alicia explained, Nico listening intently to watch she was saying. He understood and was ready to take accountability for his actions, it was just Thalia left now.

'You really love me don't you' That was his way of apologising, a light hearted joke and Alicia took that on board happy to have her brother back.

She had always been so against boys and relationships. After having to play mother most of her life, she wanted to let loose and never have strings attached.
Yet here she was being 'complicated' with Alicias older brother.

Thalia had never expressed any intrest in any of the friend group before.
Maria had always had a little thing for Ale once he finally matured and Alicia and Lamine were honestly mean to be.
Regardless the situation was extremely confusing and everyone but her reaching out, made it worse

After her conversation with Nico, he left to go run some errands and she was still left waiting for her usual Good Morning message from Lamine and it was now afternoon.

Not wanting to come off as needy she tried to do things to kill time like tidy her room, shower and even collect the unopened mail from downstairs.
