Emily's POV

There was a knock on the door. "Can I come in?"

I unlocked the door and let Calum in. He sat next to me on the bed. "Hey. I know it's hard but you'll get over it....eventually."

I looked at him for a moment,"They had a second child."

Calum let of a deep sigh. "Alright, well. I got nothing."

"I'm going over to Michael's room." I said.

"Okay."

I left the room and went into Michael's room. Then I climbed next to him on his bed. "Hey there you loser" Michael said.

"I hate life right now."

"You shouldn't let someone or something this stupid make your life miserable." He said.

"I know...but...it's hard. You don't get it" I said.

"What do I not get. Emily. I've been there through nearly your whole life. 16 years actually. I understand you. I understand what you do on periods. Or what you do when you're angry. Or what brand of soap you use. There is nothing about you that I don't understand" Michael said.

"My parents had another kid after they left me" I said.

Michael wrapped both of his arms around me,"I'm sorry."

The next morning I had school. Great. Math was a pain in the ass. Calum kept bugging me and the teacher had a sub. Then science, I've never liked science to be honest. History was the only class I had with Dany and Bree. After those three classes was lunch.

I got my lunch and sat down at the usual table I sat at. I waited for a while then finally Lucas and Daniel came over. "Hey Em" Dany said.

I smiled in response. We sat there eating our lunches when suddenly Calum came over.
"Long story short. I'm off the team. Apparently you have to keep a popular reputation and being in a crappy band isn't a choice. And to top it all off I'm dating a loser" Calum said.

"Thanks. Love you too" I said quietly.

"Who doesn't" he said.

Me and Dany made eye contact with each other then went back to eating. "So, I heard that homecoming is coming up" Dany said.

"Yea, are you taking Andrea" I smirked.

"Probably" he said.

"You guys are so cute" I mentioned.

"Who are you taking Lucas" I asked.

"Probably not going. Not like I can get a date."

"You can go with me. I mean, it's not like Calum is gonna go to homecoming" I said.

"Hey! No one takes my girl to homecoming except for me" Calum said kissing my cheek. "And maybe after that we can have-"

"I'll kill you if you finish that sentence."

"Woah, Calum" Dany laughed. Calum rolled his eyes,"It's been like 2 months since I've had sex. And I'm sick of it" he groaned.

"Go watch porn" I told him. Luke and Dany snickered. Calum glared at me,"Or...we could do it ourselves" Calum smirked.

"Is the sexual guy back?"

"Maybe" he said.

"Until you stop asking for sex. I'm going to homecoming with Luke" I smirked before getting up. Calum got up too.

"Uh, no you're not. I mean. We can wait if that's what you want. Like whenever you're ready or..."

I chuckled and dumped my tray.
