Emily's POV
"I actually like it. And I'm not just saying that to get out of trying the rest on." Luke chuckled.
"Fine," I said pulling out my purse.
"What are you doing" Luke questioned.
"I'm gonna pay for it" I said.
"No, you don't have to. The least I could do is pay for it" Luke said.
"You're such a gentleman. I wish Calum would be more like you" I said.
Luke went into the dressing room and took the suit off. "Yea, but that's what makes Calum, Calum." Luke said.
We walked up to the counter and Luke purchased the suit. "Wanna grab a smoothie?" Luke questioned.
"Sure" I smiled following him down the food court.
We got our smoothies and sat down at a table.
"Hey look at the losers over there" Brandon laughed. Lauren, Jason and some other popular kids were there too.
"What are they doing here" I asked Luke.
"This is a public mall near our school. Why wouldn't they be here?"
I saw Calum was with them too. I quickly pulled out my phone.
Emily: I thought you guys weren't friends anymore
Calum looked over and made eye contact with me for a moment.
Calum: Might've told them I broke up with you. Good news though uh, I'm back as team captain
Emily: I still hate you
Calum: No you don't
I got up to go out my drink in the trash when a tray of smoothies was shoved into me. There was some running down my shirt.
"Oops" Lauren said. The group of people started laughing including Calum. I looked over at him. He's not doing anything about this. Fuck him. I flipped off Brandon and his group then ran over to Luke.
"Wait here" Luke said,"I'll go buy you a new t-shirt or something. What's your shirt size?"
"Um, Adult Small" I said.
"Okay, I'll be right back." I smiled as I watched him run into ShirtZ.
He came back out with an All Time Low shirt. "Thank you" I said running into the bathroom.
I came back out,"You are an amazing friend" I said. We started to walk through the mall.
"What about your dress. Are you planning on buying one?" Luke asked.
"We can look around but I won't buy one" I said going into a store. Luke followed me in.
Great, 'they' are here.
"Why bother looking for a homecoming dress when you probably don't even have a date to go with?" Lauren laughed.
Everyone snickered.
"Stop being such a bitch Lauren. At least Emily doesn't look like a lizard wearing make up" Luke said. I looked over and smiled at him.
"Excuse me?" Lauren questioned, shocked.
"Aww, Lukey can actually stand up for himself" Brandon cooed.
"I'll go buy a dress soon. Let's just leave this store." I said tugging on Luke's arm.
"Why do they all have to be such jackasses" Luke huffed.
"Calum's one of them." I mentioned rolling my eyes.
"Fuck. We have band practice later" Luke said.
