--- Your Point of View ---

"That explains a lot, here I thought you were coming through the window." I seethed a little bit.

"Did you enjoy your sleep?" He tilted his head in a very curious manner.

"I said help me sleep, not put me into a coma."

He held up his hands, looking at him you started to see the old Steve, the one before he had been taken over show, the smirk, the blue eyes, everything, it both warmed and broke your heart to see it.

"I just helped you fall asleep; your body did really the rest."

"What..."

Steve looked to the side where the bedroom door was his brows furrowing. "He's coming back, I'll be around." And he was just...gone, like in a moment that I blinked he was gone, and seconds later Bucky came into the room.

He was holding a small tray, you had what looked like a sparkling water, he had a turkey sandwich and there was a bag of chips.

"That looks good, thank you."

He set the try down in your lap. "Here you go doll, I'm going to take Luna to the park... if you don't mind?"

"Sure..." You looked up after a second because of the way that he asked.

"I don't mind you asking, but you are like her father Buck, I trust you with her." You said it very offhandedly, and looking at Bucky you saw the happiness on his face.

"Okay, I'll be home in a few hours to make dinner, please get some rest – you really need it." He started to leave then came back and kissed you on the forehead, pulling back he seemed to be displeased with that and leaned down and kissed you on the lips.

He kept at it for a moment, then pulled back and left the room.

When he was gone you instantly started to eat your sandwich, you were starving, before you could even think that much about it you had finished it and started on the chips.

You looked up when you opened the sparkling water, Steve was standing there, you felt your heart start to jump into your throat.

"You know that's my daughter."

"I know, but Bucky loves her..."

"I'm going to keep an eye on them, Bucky is right, you have been thought a lot..."

"Mostly because of you..." You said it without provocation and you closed your mouth after, you were shocked at your own anger.

He gave you a leveled look.

"Be that as it may..."

"She's safe with Bucky." You defended, and you really did mean it – you knew that Bucky would protect her with his life.

"Okay..."

You set the tray on the bedside table, you really were tired, it was as if all the stress that had been building up over the past few months, hell the past year finally came to the surface, and it was exhausting.

You ignored Steve and maneuvered your body, so you laid down on the bed and pulled the covers up to cover you.

You felt the bed dip beside you, you were going to protest when you felt the familiar feeling of his arms around your waist, he was on top of the covers covering you.

You closed your eyes, memories of the first time you had slept with him, when you were in Oakley, Utah, having him close, how you felt protected, you felt the tears go down your face slowly.

"Don't cry, shhh, I'm here for you Baby Girl, just sleep."

You felt yourself start to pass out, the tears still going down your face, because deep down, as much as you love Bucky, this, this moment with Steve, just feels right, it feels how it should be.
