Alexis POV:

(1 week later)

I woke up in the morning but quickly ran to the toilet and threw up. I took something cause I had a serious headache. I must just have a high fever so I thought nothing of it or even a bad hangover. I didn't feel like putting anything nice on so I just put on some sweats and a big t-shirt then put my hair into a messy bun. I sat on my bed and fell asleep again.
When I woke up I checked my phone and I had gotten a missed call from Cam so I called him.
"Hey cam you called?" I said "oh ya umm well something happened." he said "what." I said a little scared of what it might be." "well your dad is kinda in jail." I suddenly dropped my phone. I couldn't believe what I just heard. My dad in jail what how. Is it because of what he did to me or did he do something. How'd the police even find out? So many thoughts were running through my head. "Hello hellooo you still there?" I heard cam say through the phone on the ground so I quickly picked it up. "sorry it's just why is he in jail?" I asked "Alexis I want you to be completely honest with me ok?" He said "ok." I said scared of what he might ask cause I think I know. "did he do anything to you and tell me the truth?" Oh no he knows. "umm h-he uh." I said not able to really say it. "Alexis tell me." he said "ok fine yes he did he would abuse me for over 3 years and I didn't tell you cause I was scared I'm so sorry Cameron I really am." I said now crying. "ok I'm coming over right now." he said then hung up. I just sat on my bed crying waiting for him until I heard a knock on the door so I went up to get it but the person beat me to it and just opens the door. "Alexis I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help or protect you." cam said coming towards me and hugging me. "W-why d-did he go to jail." I asked trying to form words while crying. "well they arrested him for child abuse he would hurt you Alexis he deserved it." cam said "why didn't you tell me?" He asked "I was scared I didn't want you to get involved and if I told them I wouldn't have anywhere to live even tho I really wanted to." wait where am I going to live now. "cam where am I gonna live now?" I said "well they said you can live by yourself since your 16 and they said you can finish your last year of high school on online school and they got you a house in Las Angeles." "When will I leave?" I asked "that's the bad part it's tomorrow." "oh." was all I could say "I'll leave so you can pack." he said "thanks cam." I said before he walked out. "for what?" He asked "Just thanks." I said he just nodded then left. I then started packing up for tomorrow and bought a plane ticket. Wait what about Nash I'm mean we aren't dating but still I won't be able to see him. Then I remembered what happened last week after the party and smiled. All of a sudden my stomach started hurting again so I decided to take a nap. I wish it didn't hurt cause I didn't want to spend my last day like this. So I got in my bed and fell asleep.
